Hopefully HawksGM responds... He basically accpeted it, but has not been on since I replied... I figured I would post it due to the fact I have to leave... If it does not go through I am fine with that, but hopefully it will...
Pistons Trade:
Manu Ginobili
Dan Gadzuric
Kurt Thomas
2008 1st Round Pick (Raptors)
2010 2nd Round Pick (Pistons)

I love this trade for the Hawks.
Gads is a great C, with good Potential. Ginobili is a good defender and shooter, with a bigger contract, but still a good player. Thomas is also a good role player.
Obviously this is alot of contracts to eat, but the chances of the Hawks landing a marquee free agent is low.
That being said, Pistons clear alot of space and land a potential top 5 pick.

After this trade and the Webber trade go down, I will have more than enough money to sign a Max FA and I will still have my core of Swift, Ferry and Nash under contract... Plus I have 2008 Hawks 1st and 2009 Celtics 1st, both of which should be very good lotto picks...

I get three guys who I think are gonna be a great fit...with Tanner, Schenk and Prince adding Gadz and Ginboili gives me a good starting 5 and with the Raptors 1st and Sonics 1st I can get good role players...and yea Raptors my chances in FA weren't good so I quickly altered my plans and this deal I actually declined then the Pistons and I barely got this in once I contacted him again to accept, but yea I love this trade for him and I because he's loaded w/Ferry and Swift so he gets space and a pick good deal for all

I agree that this is a very good trade for both team, and probably one of the most fair trades in this league to this point... especially with so much contractual money changing hands...
