Sim 9 Preview/Discussion

I'm looking for my first unbeaten sim of the year.
...    ME TOO !!!  ... and before y'all laugh, with only 3 road games among 8 and just 2 winning teams on the schedule this might be as good a chance as I get for the rest of the season.

The wait goes on an I consider this a GREAT OPPORTUNITY wasted ...

Celtics @ Pacers  (tough, could be a loss)
Celtics @ Cavs  (Hello Brent)

the expected loss to the Indy guys with RonRon at the steering wheel no less (guess getting outrebounded by 24 isn't cutting it ... and then getting shown by Brent what he thinks of the trade (although he wasn't seen again after that 8 of 10 barrage on me)

Pistons @ Celtics   (We'd like to hold them to 57)

79 and a W, call that "mission accomplished"

Trailblazers @ Celtics   (Was that really Darius at the local hairdresser ?)
Nets @ Celtics   (Welcome, Shane, look, this is the home dressing room and that portable mulitmedia stuff - hey there's even your name on a locker, funny ...)

now that blow from the Jailblazers came out of nowhere. sidenote: my third offensive option took 1 shot !!! ... nice lecture from Sammy & co on what a good team looks like

woha, I got killed by WHOM? Hayden and Hobson? that truly hurts ... and as long as my swingmen shoot 3 for 28 no Kobe is needed to do me in

and then the fun began.    
My highest scoring game at 133-131, an OT victory no less, my non option PG jacking up 27 (!) shots (making 9) and my newly aquired SG setting the all-time SSBA record for steals in a game with 9 ... and to top that and giving my my 2nd win streak this season, the Big Apple was conquered in a breakout game for Baby Shaq.

So the damocles sword of that 9-73 season finally is history, a 3-6 record something I don't cry about and ...
.. I really like that finish ...

Well, I think I've found my settings.

Team: 96.2 ppg, 46.7% shooting, 51.9% 3pt.  26.6 assists/14 turnovers.  +10 rebounds per game.  +11 fta's/game.

Opposition: 80.1 ppg, 39.1% shooting, 31.6% 3, -10 rebounds/game, -11 fta's/game.

With an inside focus okafor has been outstanding.  24.6 ppg, 12 rpg, 3 bpg, 46.2% fg.

Pettit hasnt' gone down either.  26.9 ppg, 4.9 apg, 1.43 spg, 51.8% shooting, 61.3% from 3, 93.1% from the line.  He's been incredible from 3 since I changed my focus to inside.  Guess collapsing the paint is really leaving him open.

Billups once again dished out 11 apg.  His fga's have gone down, but still hitting 46% of his shots.  Dalembert was incredible (13.2 ppg, 14.6 rpg, 3.9 bpg, 49.3% shooting, 72% from the line).

On a 9-1 spree with a lineup that devean george, curran, meyers, nor murray were involved in. Kirilenko hinted at a quadruple double with 15 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists, 7 steals and an added 3 blocks against the Knicks. I also added a win against the Mavs and moved into 4th in the West.
