ok, one more sim ahead of us. i changed my offensive focus from ballanced to outside. we'll see how it goes. wanted to see the full capacity of that outside trio of bibby - mcgrady - radmanovic. very good schedule for my team again after that first 20 brutal games. so here it goes;

        Kings @ Bucks  W
    Kings @ Jazz    W
    Kings @ Trailblazers W
    Kings @ 76ers        L
    Nets @ Kings       W
    Suns @ Kings      W

the cpu will probably go with some crazy results again (like last time when celtics beat me by 34 Shocked ). i'm expecting to go 5-1, but it will probably be something diferent. game of the sim for me; Nets@Kings. lost the last time in very close game in new jersey so i hope my boys remember that and that game will also be a very good indicator of how my team really is good.

now let's establish ourselves as the top team in the pacific Exclamation

The Good:
- 10 game winning streak over a 2 sim period.
- Some Very good wins (Mavs, @Hornets, @Kings)
- Back in first place.
- Now have a winning record on the road (8-7)

The Bad:
- Lost Chauncey Billups, who was playing VERY good ball (luckily only for 6 games).
- Lost to the Wizards to end the streak.

The Bad: My team inexplicably went 5-3, with Tinsley getting hurt mid sim.

The Good: I'm only 4 losses back of 8th place if my team decides to keep winning.

Unfortunatly for all of the western conference teams, it looks like my Grizzlies will soon reach the top of the standings and repeat their trip to the finals.

We went 5-1 this sim only losing to Dallas.

Must have been the depth I finnally got with Joe Johnson and Bowen.

Fuk, forgot to set my DC, too busy with exams.

Damn I lost 4 close games: 7 by the heat, 1 by the pistons, 3 by the raptors, and 2 by the warriors....

God damn it

Erm....you realize Lindsey Hunter (the guy who replaced Billups) is an A defender.

That made my starting lineup an A+, A+, A, A-, A defensively.

Or that he is pretty good GM Kings...  Lay off the complaining...

Happy with the latest sim.
Finally had a decent sim, and beat some teams that I should normally beat.  Not a single one over 0.500, but 5-1 is 5-1.

Lebron played better at the SF spot...  Hit 45% from the field, his best since I picked him up.
Hinrich has been on a tear lately, getting his averages back up to closer to last years performances.  53% and 44% this last sim.
Raef has been a great backup center/pf for me...  12/8 in 27 mpg this lat sim.

oh please, how in the world he could have predicted that 34 year old pg will improve to A defense? he picked him cause he was the last player on the market that wasn't terrible

Hey numbnuts, Lindsey Hunter was signed on day 1 of the season. AFTER training camp.  I didn't have to predict jack didley squat.

http://ssba.phillyarena.net/transactions.htm

2007    1    Nets    Sign PG Lindsey Hunter for $1,000,000 over one year.

Remember this post?

Another 6-1 sim. What a team this is.

Hornets got me, which I was very upset about Smile

Other than that, well, what's to argue? The first season where I actually stand pat, and look what happens. I haven't made a trade since the off season, and I haven't even changed my original DC.

4.5 game lead over the entire Eastern Conference. Now in the history of the new SSBa only the Mavs have won more games than me (129 for him, 127 for me).

5th best offense, 4th best defense.

Game recap will come later. I'm off to bask in the glory of winning, and watch the blue jays game Smile
