Best team in SSBA.

Baron's TOs are back up to leading the League, but who cares when you are winning.

Got beat by the Jazz and Sixers, but got my games against the Mavs and Pacers, so I'm thrilled.

Yao Ming was player of the month for 2nd month.

4-4, good sim for the schedule I played, I continue to stay in the playoff race one spot (1/2 game out)...right now I think my team is gonna be a .500 team for the whole season...if that is good enough to get in the playoffs I'm not sure but it would keep me close

disappointing loss to the Bucks... damn!  Mad

anyway, I like what I'm seeing here on. My team has exceeded my expectations now.

Woods and Kandi definitely stepped up, they are now doing great on the boards, just like last year... they're back Very Happy having a 17 rebounds and 10 rebounds from both players, respectively, is what I expected to see...

has also been doing well with my offense. He's been having a number a double-double games which I really wanted to see at the beginning of the season.
Big Dog has been shooting the lights out, I'm looking at the possiblity of moving him to the starting position next sim...

Al harrington stepped up huge again...

Kidd had a 9,9,9 performance... almost a triple double... I hope Josh and Jameer gets more pt though... maybe at the last sim.. start them depending on how my team goes...

Nice to see that my +7 ppg differential finally turned into some wins.  4-0 sim, beat some decent (albeit not great) teams.

Team defense was amazing (opponents scored 86, 92, 82 and 88 points, shooting 34, 38, 33 and 33%).  That means none of the teams shot more than 38% against me.  WOW.

Emeka right now is my most inconsistent offensive performer.  Either going very good (29/10/4, 19/11/4/3) or very bad (16/4, 7/6, albeit he only played 18 minutes because of foul trouble).

I'll let my settings stay at fast, although I'm worried that might be part of the reason Emeka's getting in foul trouble.

Won 2 games on the road, including against the hated Magic.  Pettit got a little revenge, Dropping 38 pts with 8 boards, 6 assists, 6 steals on the hapless Ray Allen Wink

Offensively played MUCH better (99, 95, 88, 112 pts on 48, 45, 42, 52% shooting).

That's an average of 99 ppg vs. 87 ppg by the opponent.

In the top 10 in pretth much every cat (4th in rpg, 4th in apg, 10th in spg, 1 in bpg, 10th in topg, 10th in fg%, 7th in ftpg).  But what I'm REALLY happy about is:
Opp PPG: 2nd (89.7)
Opp APG: 1st
Opp FG%: 1st, 40.3%)

Pettit's been one of the most efficient top 1st options in the game:
26.4 ppg on 49.6% shooting (incredible for a guard), 89.4% ft, 37.4% 3pt.  Only 4 players score 20 or more ppg and shoot more than 49.7%.  I'd like to see the 3pt come up though.

Eww. 2-8. That's not good. No, not at all. The offense was horrendous. Miller got injured half way through the sim, and is still out another five days. Not good...

After my moves, I went 5-2 without Murphy in the starting lineup. I was enjoying Beardslee's numbers, but although Murphy doesn't score as much, he fills the box score much better and adds 2 inches and 20 lbs to my frontline, as well as some much needed inside scoring. As the season gets deeper, i decided having a late first round rookie starting wasn't the best bet. I'm only half a game out of the 8th spot in the west. Obviously, I don't see a championship for the Jazz in the near future, but I have a nice young core and some nice draft picks to add. I feel I'll move up into a sure playoff spot by the end of the year which will be enough for me considering how shaky my start was. Francis was his usual self for the Pistons. Scoring only 2 points in two games as well as committing his usual turnovers. He did  fairly well in the other games though.

On the bright side, my team is sucking( Confused ), as is the Warriors, and those are my first round picks.

Total Breakdown:

Raptors 111 Bucks 82 --Yao completely dominated inside with 35 points, 15 rebounds and 5 blocks. Peja had 31 points and Mihm had 18 points and 17 rebounds.

Raptors 122 Warriors 91 --In a game where King James should dominate, House held him to 5 of 15 shooting for just 17 points. Peja led the way for me with 44 points, including 7 of 12 from downtown. Baron Davis had a TRIPLE DOUBLE with 27 points, 15 assists and 10 turnovers.  Rolling Eyes

Raptors 94 Mavs 90 --Game of the Year so far for me. The Mavs slaughtered me 110-79 on day 29, so I was worried I couldn't compete with them. Guess I can. Peja paced us with 26 points, and Davis had 21 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Very happy to hold the Mavs to only 90 points and 36% shooting, both well below their season averages.

Raptors 112 Rockets 111 --This game was the difference between a good sim and a bad sim for me. If I had lost this game, I wouldn't have been thrilled with my sim. But with Peja scoring 30 points, and Yao chipping in 25 and 10 rebounds I was able to get it done. Baron Davis had 11 assists to just 3 turnovers which is pretty amazing for him. Mihm told Boozer that Mihm is the better PF by blocking Boozer 7 times.

Raptors 101 Wizards 98 --In a game where I would have expected to get man handled by Amare, Mihm held him in check. Arenas burnt House, but I got 34 points and 13 rebounds from Yao. Also got 27 points and 20 rebounds from Mihm, against Amare, which is utterly amazing.

Jazz 93 Raptors 81 --Well, a loss has to be expected here and there. And I would rather lose to Western Conference teams, or teams out of the playoff run (see 1 down). Baron Davis had another TRIPLE DOUBLE with 20 points, 13 assists and 10 turnovers. I wonder if those actually count towards triple doubles.

Sixers 104 Raptors 79 --Foul trouble killed me. I had 29 (!!) personal fouls which sent the Sixers to the line 54 (!!) times. Although they only made 32 of them. Duncan was only 15-30 from the FT line. But anytime I'm getting out free throwed 54-18, I'm probably gonna get blown out. Thanks alot refs.

Raptors 104 Pistons 82 --Nice game to bounce back against conference rivals. Peja got back to his high scoring ways with 45 points. Mihm scored 12 points on only 6 shots which I was really happy to see. Yao had 22 points and 14 rebounds.

Raptors 90 Pacers 82 --Nice to end the sim on a winning note, unlike a few other sims this year. Peja had 37 points and 10 assists. Yao had 23 points and 19 rebounds, although he shot only 9-28 from the floor.

Team Stats:

4th in PPG, 9th in RPG, 5th in BPG, 2nd in FG%, 1st in FT%, 5th in 3PT%/

Defensivly: 7th in oPPG, 5th in oRPG, 4th in oAPG, 7th in oBPG, 3rd in oFG%, 4th in o3PT%.

Yao is now 2nd in RPG while Mihm is T3rd. Amazing.

Baron still leads the SSBA in apg, but also in topg. Mihm is T3rd in BPG too. He will be a candidate for DPOTY.
