This is "A GAME" that alot of us enjoy playing.

Somebody needs to make the point. People don't seem to be getting it. If this becomes a trading contest, people will soon lose interest and drop out, then SSBA will be over.

I don't want that to happen.

And I was responding to the Cavs post, which was stupid, wherein he acted like an idiot.

Are you serious? Are you kidding me? I don't know what to say right now...

wouldent even worry about what he's saying right now. The Raptors gm, while he is the most active by far and a very good gm he's very overbearing, and thinks he knows how to run everyones team, he reacts negatively to any deal that he isent involved with. so dont worry about it.

Your your teams gm, and you made the move that needed to be made for your team.

as far as this league becoming a trading contest, i dont beleive that for a minute. there have 5 deals since free agency? 5 trades makes a trading frenzy? Ithink that all the deals that have been made have been fair to the teams involved in them. This league is far from going down the crapper. DaBods has a good handle on the league. and he's made rules changes already to make sure that this league stays fun, and around for a long time.

Really people should be less critical of each other in this league. no one is supremely right and no one has all the anwsers either.
theres no need for gm to personally attack each other, no need to loose all respect for anyone in this league.

After sleeping over last nights trade bonanza which had me on the edge of my seat until 5:30am I too have to admit I was wrong. And I completely agree with SunsGM.

Sorry CavsGM for ripping you apart verbally, although I didn't do it because I could have gotten Bron (no chance there) but because I thought you were robbed. But this is YOUR team, so manage it however you like. It's a free system and I don't think he made one other team into an All Star squad.

So let's play BALL again ...

Cavs, sorry buddy, but I lost all the respect I had for you as a GM with those comments you just made.

IF you chose not to put Lebron on the block, then you are an idiot.

Dude, shut up, and quit telling people how to run their team.

And the rest of your post was the hypocritical garbage
.  The Cavs held on to LeBron for 2+ years through mediocrity.  How many times have you gone through wholesale changes in that point?  Do you have 1 player on your team from a year ago?

But that's what I'm best at !!

But yes, most of you are right, I should shut up about it.

My bad.

I like to spark debate, but it's up to you Cavs how you run your team.

I'll stand by my comments that it was not a good idea for you to trade him without putting him on the block.

That will be all.

after so many nonsense trades i wonder if this is still  a "serious" league?   i don't want to get into how he should run his team but if he wanted to built some powerfull frontcourt, damn, there are alot more better, better ways to do it...

*EDIT* don't bring up private offers.

Dude, seriously, get over yourself.  If he didn't want your trade, move on with your life.  Obviously 2 things happened:
1) His priorities at that time were different.
2) He did what he felt was best for his team.

Am I the only one wondering, "What the hell happened" lately?

Seems like the overall tone of everyone has gotten much snippier and less friendly.  And it all just kinda happened overnight.  I just find it odd, personally.

What you can't do is "I offered you this this and this, you should have taken it".  There's also no use of questioning this league.

Hey, now we're getting close to the conspiracy thing!
SCULLY, MULDER, wheere are you, we have an X-File here ...  Laughing

Calm down and be aware that there were some really bad decisions as far as it looks now. But this is a SIM league and many deals can't be judged after 3 or more years- ... (No one said Bowie over Jordan was bad right after the 84 draft; and no one called Traylor for Nowitzki a horrible deal even after one full season !!!)

yeah, i feel the same way and i don't like it. i don't want this league to fall apart...not now when i have a good team Smile

but on a seriuos note, yeah, we should all try to get along again. maybe the commish should consider to dump this trade threads. only announcment of the trade and no comments...it's just a thought... Confused

Erm...you're the one who bitches that you offered a better deal, and that everyone else gets lucky.

Comments and debating are more than fine.  Bitching, bringing in your offer and complaining that it was better, as well as questioning the integrity and the competency of the GM is not fine.

When I was first starting out, I found the trade comments to be invaluable in terms of me learning about the ratings and how they should be valued.  So I'd hate to see them go, because they can be informative for new people.  But if there's not going to be any value that can be gleaned from them, then I might have to come around to that.  Hopefully, we can all take a step back and realize that this is just a game done for recreation, and that Nets/dabods puts a helluva lot of time and effort into keeping this thing going.  So for his sake alone, if not for everyone else, let's all try to be less vociferous about moves/trades/etc.  It adds nothing and actually takes away from the enjoyment of this, at least IMO.

HEY, GUYS, c'mon ! This is the fun part, the heckling, the trash talking.

Do and write whatever you feel, but don't take it personally if you don't get a player, keep it funny, it's still a game and no ones life or even existence depends on this.
This has gotten a global thing now where different mentalities, different cultures, heck even different generations are involved. No wonder this leads to misunderstandings from time to time ...
... but I absolutely love it that you guys are spread all over the world, from Manila to Ontario, from Antwerp to Rio (Wink), from 'tonio to zagreb. THAT's a GOOD thing !!!
