I agree to this trade...
Just so we know..
LaFrentz and Odom are within 15% of each other (barely)
LaFrentz is on a trade restriction, so this deal had to be separate.

No other players are on trade restrictions...

Wow

I wish you would have put Lebron on the block, you always said he was 'untouchable' and all of a sudden you trade him.

I have to look at the trade, but at first glance it looks about right for both teams.  Bron just wasn't doin it for the Cavs

I'm just hoping that being trade might disenfranchise bron bron Smile

Especially if the Warriors don't turn it around.

People.

Let's go through this one more time. To get fair value for your players, PUT THEM ON THE BLOCK. LET PEOPLE KNOW.

Cavs got HUGE depth back, but alot of the players he got are backups.  Kaman is playin brutal this year, and Meyers is a scorer who does nothin else and is unefficient.  I'm not sold on either of those players.  Claxton is and will always be a decent backup at best

The Warriors pick should be good, although the draft is not that strong.  On the plus side the Cavs shed Raefs contract.  Odom has emerged as a star in this league as well.

That said, Lebron is a monster ratings wise, and STILL has A potential.  He might have performed in Clevland, but might explode in Golden State.  I still think the Cavs should have posted that Lebron was on the block (unless I missed it).

Although the Warriors got Raefs contract, hes still a good center.  Williamson and Bellamy are also decent propoects

LOL. Get up and wash your face off. This is the reality. I'm a little tired from the 97 PM's WarriorsGM and I sent back and forth to each other to explain everything. I'd like to hear some opinions, though.

That is the risk I am taking...
Lebron is a perfect fit with the current Warriors.
He increases my defense immensely, and is very, very good offensive player.  Will play 2nd fiddle to Gasol offensively, which I think will suit him well.
Hinkle and Lebron are interchangeable at the SF and SG spots.  Defensively, if I can keep Lebron, these two will be a great defensive duo.

Although Odom was playing at high level, the Odom/Gasol/Hinrich group never really played that great.  Gasol and Hinrich have played well together, so it was time to go in another direction.
Kaman is tough to give up, he is not too far from Jamal Magloire abilities right now, and has a B potential.  Meyers played very well for me last year, but his minutes are down this year due to Hinrich getting more time.

But, Lebron, welcome...  Glad to have you here in a Warriors uniform.

THe Nuggets thing with Billups and KMart was one thing.

This took the cake. I'm dead serious, Cavs. I would have ADDED MORE TO YAO to get Bron.

Actually it's ALL MY FAULT Embarassed . This is what I wrote earlier in the day:

Quote from: CelticsGM
Quote from: CavsGM
If I were either of you, Kings or Celtics, I wouldn't be too anxious for the next sim...

Ha, just kidding..

You'll come to Fleet Center, and then we'll take care of that Bron boy ...
Be careful or I'll put Darko on him all night !

Of course - getting rid of LeBron was the only way out of this ...  Cool

Don't think you could ask for a better PF then Odom next to Big Z.
Odom is probably a top 5 PF with his stats, and is in competition with Dirk for best all-around offensive PF (Odom will likely average 4-5 assists with his 25 pts and 11 rebounds at the PF spot)
Like stated earlier, Kaman is a good center.  The only reason his stats are down is because I tried to run a fast pace last sim, and he was pushed out of the DC because of it.
Meyers was the best shooter in last years draft, 45% from three point range.
