Yu are right.. that one also sounds like if you are bad, you set yourself into a loop you cannot get out of, (attendance down, less money, lesser players) unless you basically purge all of your salary.

Is there a set salary structure for draft picks? Can they refuse your offer and become free agents?

There is a set salary structure. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but it starts around 2.8-3 million for the first pick and about 900k for the last pick in the first round.
And no, they can't refuse your offer. They're yours.

Will a players weight go up over the years? I would expect Andris Biedrins and D Howard to go up in weight , considering they are only 17....

That's a good question, that I don't know the answer of. I've never noticed a players weight go up or down before, but I'm not positive.

Weight and Height will not be change. One solution in my other league is we will have a weight room in the offseason, where you can add 10lbs to two players, so 5lbs each.

REGARDING THE DEPTH CHARTS
Do you recommend to change it every sim? How bout every round in the playoffs? Depending your opponent?

you're not a beginner anywho, change it if it needs to be changed. if it's not working, fix it. For the playoffs I'll change it for matchup purposes. like switching my best perimeter defender from the sg and sf positions.

A couple questions:
Is the draft a true lottery or based solely on records? I read posts that seem to indicate that it is based solely on record. e.g. How do you know if a pick will be top 5 or not?
In trading a player obtained through an earlier trade I understand that he can't be packaged before 60 days. How is that he can be traded on the 60th day or after the 60th day? For example, I acquired a player on day 21. On March 1st we will sim days 81-90. Can I trade that player at the start of that sim (day 81) or do I have to wait until the next sim?

1) The first 3 picks are a lottery, from the 13 teams that didn't make the playoffs. The remaining 10 lottery picks are based on record for the remaining non-playoff teams.
It's exactly like the real nba.
2) after 60 days. So he can't be traded until AFTER day 81.
