I just created a new forum for Positional Changes.

If you want to change the position of a player, request so there.

As for finding out the results, you'll see that once I upload the site.  I'm not going to track down each person and reply with their abilities.  As you said, it would cause extreme overhead.  People would request changes for every person on their team, and I'd constantly be doing that.

So you'll find out when I run that simulation.  Then you can change it back before the next simulation is run.

There's really no consequence in making a bad change though, as it won't affect their play.

The players have a rating for potential. This means that all the other rating can move up. When does this happen? Only in the off-season as a reaction to how they played that season? Or can ratings move up and down during the season?

Potential is potential to improve.  So yes, it's how much more they can improve their other ratings.

As players age, their ratings can also decline.

All changes to a players ratings (outside of when they change positions, as described in the prior post) happen during a period called training camp.  This is simulated immediately after day 5 of free agency.  A player cannot improve/decline at any other point in the season.

the potential that is shown on each roster is just scouted right?

cuz this league has by far the fewest A's, which is different, makes it a lot more challenging...

meaning that Araujo isn't really F...lol

also the overall ratings in general are a lot lower than other leagues....in other leagues im in, your 20 PPG scorers are like B+ inside for a bigman at the least, and B- inside, B outside or greater for most 1/2/3's...

im guessing that in this league it might be different??

It is scouted potential, that is correct.  Potential is not exact.

As for the ratings, they mean the same as in all other leagues.

Ok, so if potential is not exact, who or what decides if a player is gonna raise (or drop) his ratings.

And is it safe to say that a good young player with potential c can still raise his ratings more than expected? Just like 30 year old players with potential b can drop real fast?

That's exactly correct. A guy like Araujo who i an F potential isn't likely to move much, but I guy with C can still move well. That's why Trevor Ariza is an intruguing rookie Free agent.

injuries occur pretty often. You can have season ending injuries. It is not "based" on the real nba though.

A question) In trades, can two players be taken back to overrule the 60 day trade rule? For example, I have Potopenko who was recently traded to me. Can I re-trade him, him alone, for two players? Or must it be a 1 for 1? Also, can he be traded along with a pick?

If these questions have already been answered, I apologize...

You can receive more than 1 player, but you can only send out one player.
