Basically, I wasn't planning on starting Vlad so I'm basically trading back up for backup.  Fab will obviously play behind Mercer, and I might experiment with him at the 2.  You can never have enough talent, I think Fab is a great player although he will most likely be a backup.  I shed alot of cap with Vlad's contract, Kamens is nice, but has to improve his handles is he's going to be a viable PG in this league.

Like last year, I'm trying to build on depth, I want a team with little drop off with the second unit.  Hopefully I get a backup SF via FA today

well i got my missing piece in radmanovic. SF was the the only position where i was weak and now i have a great sidekick for bibby and mcgrady at the outside position + i get rid of sura's bad contract. fabrizio could become better player then radmanovic but with bibby, bobby jackson and stankovic i'm pretty loaded at PG spot so it won't hurt me.

now i'm thrilled with my starting five, specially with defense;

Bibby           A-
Mcgrady       A-
Radmanovic  A-
Webber        B+
Miller            A-

so basically, my #10 pick became radmanovic, sallary dump in sura, 2 future second rounders and some promising prospect in kamens (i don't have some high hopes for him but he's still B+ defense). that's fine with me...

Kings should be the most improved team other than the Sonics

yep. i can't even recognize my team myself Smile

after the last year 4 - man - team - no backups - misery it's really a great improvement. bobby jackson, vladimir radmanovic, corie blount, stankovic, webber resigns. my starting lineup is complete + i have some very good backups. but i am looking for just one more trade...we'll see

Well Kings, your team looks better than last year, which is upsetting for me, because I was hoping your pick would be lotto.

I'm not sure I think Fabrizio is great.  In fact, not sure he's a starter in this league.  But he should be a great backup, which as you said is all vlad would have been on your team.

Vlad's one of those guys with good ratings that don't produce the stats.  But on the Kings, he won't need to.  And he'll bring more to the Kings than Fabrizio would have.

Great deal for the Kings,

They gave up their #3 and #4 PG (!!) for a solid PG talent - which might get better than Fabrizio, if that F really is valid (and other than anyone believing that an F is impossible and every player HAS to get better, this has happend in real life - Laettner anyone)  ...

... and Radmanovic is possibly due for a breakout season as well. He's only 24 and if he gets the scorer I believe he will (almost took him myself in the Pierce deal), this deal is close to the Traylor-Nowitzki incident in "onesideity".

great job of the kingsgm to rebuilt his team without giving up his core..
can´t wait to see if it is enough for the playoffs..
sure radmanovic is no star but he is way better than everything he had last year at sf..
also fabrizio is imo a decent backup and never should be a starter if his shooting and pot rats are correct..

Having been a past owner of Radmanovic, I have the inside scoop...
Great defender against post up SF's, perimeter defense just OK.
The last two eyars, starts off terrible, and improves as the year goes on.  His outside shooting dropped last TC.
Good player, especially defending the Garnett's and the Nowitzki's of the world.
I like the job the Kings have done in rebuilding.
The Pacific may have just gone from the worst division in the league to the best in one offseason.

no, not really, I still think he'll be a good player but I like the upside of Darko more, plus his contract is favourable, which would allow me to trade him if Jefferson is ready.
But your plans to start Vlad and play Pierce at the 2 also took a small turnaround ... Wink

So this might still be a fair deal if Fab improves (I really like him and tried to get him myself but wasn't willing to offer as much talent) and Vlad stays put. But Kamens for Sura, I think that will never be regarded equal value ...
