Guys, we are 11 posts away from 10K. This is a MAJOR accomplishment for any League. This solidifies our prescence as one of the top sim leagues on the net.
You should all be proud. This has been a league-wide effort.
In my experience, 10,000 is somewhat of a threshold to cross - hard to get over, but once you do, the League seems here to stay.

don't get too attached. Old posts will probably be deleted shortly. The database is getting large (up near 15 mb's), which puts unnecessary strain on the server and increases load times.

It's not about the number of posts, it's about the time we've been around (10K posts takes a while to collect) and the activity of the GM's.
That's the most important things. 10,000 is just a number, but it's how we get there that is the big deal.

BTW, I think the old league only had something like 6,000 when we left the site. And that league ran for a while.
Does anyone still have that web page on their browser?

Actually it was 10,262, but 262 have been deleted, so that was the post that made the board display 10,000 posts.
