It will be a great series. The last two times we faced each other with our new teams, the Nuggets beat the Warriors by one, and the Warriors beat the Nuggets by one... I expect it to go at least 6 games.
BTW, don't discount the Suns. They are 11-2 in their last 13 games. The Kobe Vince combo is deadly, and they play at a pace no team can really match.

Now with the mavs out of my way, i have a legitamate shot at the championship. I expect to cruise right through this round playing the eigth seed. The western conference finals will be a tough game but i dont see anyone stopping me, even without Richardson. Dont sleep on my Suns Kobe and Vince are very tough to handle and I think my front line matches up well with yours. but in the end you just might have enough to get past me I think that this will be a vert competitive series and i cant wait until sunday now!! GO SUNS!!!As far as the series with the Mavs I want to congratulate them on a great series, and season and good luck to them next season. The series was great vince really Broke out in this series averaging 25 pts per game. and Kobe was impressive also with his 21.5 ppg. My biggest suprise however was Troy Havlicek. He played a great series, he had 12 ppg, and 8 ast per game with 8 turns for the entire series(thats a 4-1 ast/to ratio) Frontline: Collier and Hunter at C and Nene and Moiso at PF were adaquate, not great numbers, but played well enough defensively and on the offensive end to counter the Mavs, but i really think the series was won for me in the backcourt. I look forward to matching up with the Grizz in round 2

didn´t expect a swept. o´neal was near unstoppable. he avg. near 30 pts, 14rbs, 6ass, 2stls and 4 blk..... first time i could really show what fisher did the whole season since inserted in the starting lineup. Against a very good Miller he shot over 60% from the 3 and avg more than 3 stls..... As expected Foster played very well against Z avg. a double double in 20 min of the bench. now the hornets are a very good team. they are built very similar to my team. in regular season the homecourt team is still unbeaten. also my last loss against them was without o´neal who will gave them trouble. i really hope i can protect my homecourt and that artest and jamison will give marion a good matchup. Marion is the key for me. If i can limit his production i should win. At the moment i am on a 13 win streak Congrats to the suns..... i really thought that dirk would eat up vince... the east 2rd is just crazy....

LOL. Are the Warriors and the Suns seriously talking like you are gonna meet in the WCF??
The 7 and 8 seeds.
Maybe you boys want to focus on the Nuggetts and the Grizz first.

I admit I am a little scared about my round with the suns. He matches up very well with my team now that Richardson is out. The strength of my defensive frontcourt will not matter much since the suns frontcourt is bad. I just hope Posey and Jones can play enough defense to stop kobe and vince.

Scored 93.5 ppg, only gave up 83.8 ppg on 42% shooting. Where I really won this series was on turnovers. I only committed 10 turnovers/game, and won the differential by +4.2 per game. Also had 8 more fta's/game than washington, and even made a better percentage (made 72% of my free throws, hallelujah!). Liked how some of my players stepped up. Okafor was a beast. 24.8 ppg, 11 rpg, 2.4 blocks, 44.4% shooting. About what he's been doing since I moved him to center. Pettit's scoring dropped a little bit as I moved him to backup pg (about 13 minutes/game). 22.2 ppg, 5.2 rpg, 6.4 apg, 1.2 spg, 1.8 topg (3.5/1 assist to turnover ratio). Might be something to think about next offseason, especially if he can improve his ballhandling a tad. Shot 61% from downtown. Dalembert stepped up as the 3rd option. 11.6 pts, 12.8 boards, 4.4 blocks. Battier was efficient (7.2 boards/game, 1.2 steals, 0.6 turns, 52% from the field and 40% from 3). Watson filled in nicely at the pg spot. Didn't score much (8.6 ppg, but did shoot 45% from downtown), but really did wonders with the ball (7.6 assists to 1.6 turns, 4.75/1 ratio). Also had more steals than turnovers for the series. Amare was once again held in check. My frontline defense is dominating. 17 ppg, 8 rpg, 39.3% from the field. This was a guy who put up 26 ppg on 50% shooting during the regular season. Everyone else was also held in check. Arenas scored 14 ppg, shot 25% from downtown, and had nearly as many turnovers per game (4) as assists (4. . Pistons should be interesting. Went 2-2 against them in the regular season, but they held me in check offensively the last two games.

All right, breakdown of the Clips/Warriors series... Overall : Warriors : 93.4 ppg, 51.9 rpg, 9.4 spg, 11.9 tpg, on 43% field, 43% from 3, and 73% line Clippers : 88.7 ppg, 52 rpg, 6.6 spg, 13.7 tpg on 42% field, 37% from 3, and 78% the line. TO's and 3 point shooting were the two differences in this series...
Starting lineup breakdown :
Center : Tyson Chandler : 36 mpg, 13.3 ppg, 12.5 rebs, 1.4 blocks 39% field vs. Adonal Foyle : 33 mpg, 8.4 ppg, 11.1 rebs, 2.9 bpg, 34% field Huge defensive matchup, probably ended up in a tie, maybe a slight edge to Chandler. Chandler was a better scorer and rebounder, but Foyle's blocks helped alot.
PF : Elton Brand : 39 mpg, 22.9 ppg, 12 reb, 3 apg, 3 tpg, 0.6 spg, 3 bpg on 45% field and 67% line vs. Pau Gasol : 37.9 mpg, 24.6 ppg, 11.7 rbg, 3.6 apg, 2.3 tpg, 1.7 spg, 2.4 bpg on 42.6% field and 81% line Huge matchup between 2 marquee players. Probably played each other even in the series as a whole.
SF : Josh Childress : 33 mpg, 6.6 ppg, 4.7 reb, 1.4 apg, 1.6 spg, 0.9 to's on 35% from the field, 45% from 3, and 78% line. vs. Lamar Odom : 34.9 mpg, 21.9 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 3.9 apg, 0.6 spg, 3 tpg on 43.6% field, 27% 3, and 86% line. Most important matchup of the series for the Warriors, and Lamar did an excellent job in winning this matchup.
SG : Corey Maggette : 32.7 mpg, 14.4 ppg, 5.9 rebs, 1.9 apg, 0.9 spg, 2.9 tpg on 38% field 37% 3 and 83% the line vs. Marko Jaric : 31.6 mpg, 7.9 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 2.0 apg, 1.6 spg, 1.1 tpg on 62% field, 67% 3, 56% line. Maggette won the matchup, but not by enough. This is the matchup that decided the series. Jaric was able to hold Maggette partially in check. Jaric's ability to do do was a huge question mark coming into the series.
PG : Ben Gordon : 35.6 mpg, 15.1 ppg, 5.1 rpg, 7.9 apg, 1.1 spg, 3.9 tpg on 47% field, 30% 3, 100% line vs. Kirk Hinrich : 37.9 mpg, 13.4 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 8.4 apg, 2.0 spg, 1.7 tpg on 43% field, 51% from 3, 57% from the line This matchup played pretty even. Both players had good offensive performances, and distributed the ball well. However, the Warriors pressing, trapping defense caused to starting backcourt of the Clips an average of 6.8 TO's per game.

Just realized I am pretty much done in my playoff run. Warriors/Nuggets comparison Camby vs. Foyle Easily goes to Camby. Kenyon vs. Pau Gasol probably dead even MoPete vs. Odom Easily goes to Odom Ray Allen vs Jaric If Hughes, top 5 perimeter defender, cannot control Allen, Jaric surely cannot. Massively to Ray Ray. Hinrich vs. Billups These two are basically the same player Even. Nuggets Bench : Boykins, Glover, Jim Johnson, Collison, and Hector Warriors Bench : Cardinal, Kaman, Claxton, Meyers Warriors win here... Wonder if I could challenge the Nuggets to a bench contest instead of a real playoff, then I might have a much better chance. If Jaric can contain Ray Allen, if Odom can dominate MoPete, and if Billups has a bad series, the warriors can win. Alot of ifs here

Maybe you boys want to focus on the Nuggetts and the Grizz first. I never said that i'll be in the WCF, maybe you should read my previous post where I said that the Grizz are probally a better team than mine. However with that being said, I will not under sell my team, Kobe and Vince are very tough to defend for anyone. So maybe you should read the entirety of the post before you start trying to clown

Calm down suns. End of year check-in updated: http://ssba.phillyarena.net/files/check-in.htmA little worried about the activity of the Blazers, Sixers and Rockets, although I've heard from all of them regarding FA's.

Where did I ever say i was going to face the Warriors?
I talked about my series with the Mavs, and talked about the grizz. i never said annything about the Warriors period.
Go back and look at the posts. I'm just happy to be in the second round.
So I'm not sure where you think i refered to meeting the Warriors in the WCF, because it never came out of me.
