Curry is making a strong case for 6th man of the year. On the year he is averaging 11/7/1.5 BPG in 23 MPG. This sim he averaged: 13/6 on 50% FG

Well in the NBA I believe all you have to do to qualify is play more games off the bench than as a starter, it could be 42 games off the bench and 40 as a starter and you would qualify. I would think the 16 games Curry started wouldn't effect his 6th man cause.

I'm just wondering how would we put that type of offer when we send our PM's to dabods during the FA period. Because what if like we forgot what the player's previous salary was. Would we just write "120% of previous year's salary", and then it's understood?

or "max" since that's the maximum of what you can offer.

Wow... Major payoff battles will be decides in this sim. In the West, the Nuggets and Grizz have a battle for the third spot. And getting that third spot means that you do not have to face KG in the playoffs, which is always a good thing.
Houston has been on a slide since the loss of Peja, and now the Suns are only one game back for the last playoff spot in the West. The Kings also still have a chance as well, although slim.
In the East, who knows... 1 and 2 appear to be pretty set, although the Nets still have a good chance to take the 1 seed from the Pacers.
The Pistons and Heat are in a battle for the 3rd spot, but the Raptors and Cavs are close on their heels, and the Hornets have 7 home games left against a weak schedule. Any team that falters right now could drop all the way to 7th.

Just noticed this, but does anyone else have a better record on the Road than at Home??? I am 20-16 @Home and 26-11 on the Road... I hope in a way this is a good thing... I guess if I go far into the Play-offs I don't have to worry about home-court advantage...

steve francis would have a strong shot at 6th man of the year. He's played most of the year off the bench, but will probably still be excluded, then again, those TOpg are NOT helping.

I have a terrible road record- 16-21. Which is why I would REALLY like to catch the Heat for 4th, and Home court advantage. Of course, I play 7 more games, and 4 are back-to-back-to-back-to-back on the road.

Sim up. Payton's out another 25 games First major injury of the year, it happens RIGHT before the playoffs. Looks like Earl's getting an audition for next year. Had I known I'd only be going into the playoffs with him I wouldn't have traded Daniels. Playoff Brackets are up. As are season awards. Congrats to Pettit. ROY, all-league 2nd team, all-rookie team and 2nd team defense (huh?). Okafor got completely snubbed. How pettit made an all-defensive team and okafor didn't is beyond me. Congrats to the Pacers for overtaking the Mavs for best record.

Just checked, there will be some big names on the free agent market, but NOT the one I had expected (unless his offer gets turned down).
