went 5-5....im not worried at all coming into the playoffs.. Very Happy we all know shaq plays the his best on playoffs...and ill have okur back from a 45 days injury...ill come out my best on the playoffs...i wasnt the leader in season standing....hope to keep shaq and the rest of the guys healthy  Very Happy

You and me would be an exciting matchup. While I don't think Mihm can stop Shaq, I also don't think Okur can stop Boozer.

You have the edge with the 2/3's, but my PG is better than yours.

You have more depth too.

I am very happy with my team, they are really on a roll. I am tied for 3rd in the west and the way the mavs are playing right now I do have a small chance to win the 1rst seed in the west. But I matchup well against the wolves and Jazz. They both have star Pf's and I have Ben Wallace able to cover them! I see a trip to the finals the way the Mavs are playing right now.

Man, I feel good going into these playoffs. My record against the other playoff teams:

1. Pacers (2-2)
2. Nets (4-0)
3. Pistons (0-4)
4. Heat (1-2)
5. Me
6. Cavs (2-2)
7. Hornets (4-0)
8. Wizards (1-3)

If I can get by the Heat/Pistons, there is a great chance I would play Pacers/Nets. And I think I could hang with both of them.

Very happy with my sim... 6-2
2 losses were a blowout loss to the Jazz away, and a 1 point loss to the Wolves at home.
The Gasol/Odom/Hinrich combo is really gelling right now.

Right now, matched up against the Clips.
Slight chance to catch up to the Jazz, but not likely, I would guess...

5-3 not bad since i lost to the cavs in over time and had the injury bug over the sim. fisher only played two games, o´neal had to sit the bulls and the hornets game and dikembe is out for the season.
really liked the game against the hornets. both teams shot over 50% and didn´t turn the ball over.
if i can do  a 5-3 in the next sim i should be first or second seed.
i really need homecourt advantage. my matchup would be either the wizards or the hornets.

Dude, you're gonna have homecourt advantage. One more win for you will clinch it. But the loss of Mt. Mutumbo must hurt. 2.6 blocks/game is hard to replace.

Damn, how big of a stud is Petit? The Kid should be rookie of the year. It's just not fair.

Come next year, and the year after, if the Nets land Amare, who is gonna be able to play with them? Petit and Okafor are both A potentials too.

i don´t mean for the first round. i try to get it for the EC Playoffs.
Yea you are right. i can´t really replace a 38 year old C  Confused .
i will try to do it as a team. Andersen,Foster or Battie wll have to do it as a team. I think Andersen has the potential to avg. the same stats as Mt.Mutombo.

Don't forget Battier, he also has B potenial.  That team will be even more scary in 2-3 years.

This was a freaky draft class, Petit and Ferry were already studs going into the league.  Any other year Mercer would have won ROY, but Petit will take it for sure.  Ferry will come in close 2nd, with Mercer 3rd

No Bird Years though... It will take some cap management to hold on to him. In two years Battier will be someone's MLE.

The Nets are looking pretty sick right now, but they have to address two positions for the long term: SF, and PG. If they sign Amare then one of those bigs is gonna have to go to fill those postions. Fortunately for the Nets, those two positions only need to be filled with role players, not stars.

The Nets are sick, but I think I'm gonna be able to give them a run. Mihm, Boozer, Gooden, Ellis and Davis are a great starting 5, and i might be able to get a guy like Amare, Yao or Wallce too.

This free agency period is going to completely set up my future. I could come out with Amare AND Gooden, or I could come out with neither.

Well, my three headed offensive attack was very effective this sim...

Looks like Gasol likes a normal pace...
25.6 pts, 12.1 rebs, 2.6 assists and 2.6 blocks on 47% shooting.  Went to the line 10 times per game.

Odom is a great sidekick...
20 ppg, 7 rebs, 3.8 assists, 1.1 steals on 46% and 39% shooting.

and Hinrich has been great as the third man...
14.8 pts, 7.8 assists, 3.4 rebs, 2.1 steals, on 52% and 45% shooting. TO's a little high (3.5), but as a team they were pretty low (13.Cool

Cardinal off the bench was great this sim...
23 mpg, 9.8 pts on 53% and 42% shooting

And Jaric has been a huge (and pleasant surprise)
this sim : 32 mpg, 6.6 ppg, 2.5 assists, 2.1 steals, on 55% and 50% shooting.  Does not shoot much, but very efficient when he does.

The combo of Jaric and Odom has been much better then Vlad Radman and Carter defensively, and the team has been better offensively since Carter has left town.

there is no need for bird rights. if battier is improving he will be able to give him more than the MLE and if not he will be replaced. So i don´t think there is a great need here but depth is really a problem for the nets.
hmm i don´t think that any of the big FA will leave their team if the GMs are clever enough.

Battier will have 2 bird years.  That means I can offer him 120% of the last year of his previous contract.  That means I can offer him a contract starting at 6.6 million, well above the MLE Smile

and yeah, I lucked out with Pettit.  I really wanted Tanner, shows what I know.  But I REALLY wanted one of the top 2 picks, which is why I traded away Humphries midway through the season.
