Played 4 games, 3-1 overall, 2-1 on the road. Some good teams too (Pistons, Cavs, Hornets).
But boy, did the offense struggle. Luckily for me, they struggled more. Held opponents to 80.5 ppg on 40% shooting, 27.3% from downtown, and a +4.5 turnover differential for me.
Emeka had 2 games where got in foul trouble, only playing 17 minutes one night then 21 the following. When he got his usual minutes, he put up 16 pts, 16 boards, 4 assists and 4 blocks the one night then 21 pts, 18 boards, 3 assists and 1 block the other. Overall he put up 15.5 pts, 12 boards, 3.5 assists and 2 blocks per game in under 30 minutes. Shot 42% from the field and 71.5% from the line (!)
Pettit really struggled from the field. He seems to have hit a bit of a rookie wall. Hope he picks it up.
Dalembert had almost 5 bocks/game
Payton was a bit disappionting. 9 pts, 5.5 assists, 2.75 steals (that's great), 3 to's (terrible), and shot poorly from the field. Picked it up a bit at the end though.
Watson played nearly 20 less minutes/game than payton but had almost as many assists (4.75) and a much better turnover ratio (0.75 to's, that's 6.3/1 ratio). And had more steals a minute than payton.
We might have a pg controversy here.
LeBron was the only player this past sim to score 20 on my team
Think I might be one of the top defensive teams in the league. 3rd in the league in oPPG, 2nd in rebounding, 4th in steals, 1st in blocks, 2nd in forcing turnovers, 2nd in oFG%.
