The 2032 regular seasons has started in SSBA, and here's what happened on the first 10 days First, the major injuries: Bulls Spencer Hawes goes down for 7 days. First casualty this year ... (happened on day 1) Vern Fleming (Sonics) out 8 days (2) Vince Springer (Magic) out 9 days (2) Brad Daugherty (Lakers) goes down with a torn ACL. Out 114 days. The good part: he'll return on day 119 ... (4) Ron Harper (Grizz) out 8 days Chuck Person (Cavs) down for 8 days ( Sonics Spud Webb is gone for 7 days ( Matthew Daumeyer (Sixers) is out 19 days with a pinched nerve (9) Now the heroes and goats: The Magic kick ass early, going 7-0, followed by Raptors (6-1) and Pistons (5-1). The best in the West are the Kings at 5-3. The Knicks are the only winless team at 0-5, but the Jazz didn't do much better (1-6). The early rookie league leaders are OJ Mayo (20ppg), Ian Gaines (13rpg) and Derrick Rose (7apg). So how did your team do?

For the first time in ages the Celtics kick off with a winning sim. I'm stunned. Jeff Geiger hasn't lost his shooting touch over the long summer, biggest surprise: Kenny Anderson is in the top 10 in assists and NOT in the top ten in turnovers. But an inspiring start to the season it is ! The spirit is returning to New England basketball ...

Ridiculous.
WinningGames by just a point doesnt interest me, at all.especially against contenders like yhe sonics and the pistons. My boys better start showing up their d. We allow a lot of rebounds per game too.

Well, it looks like Westbrook is not a PG when playing with the big boys. The 4.5 to's is not pretty. His scoring was surprisingly good, though. Maybe he will be a good SG. Beasley also having a tough time with the real players. And Kemp has proven (for about the 5th time) that he does not like being an option.
Going to be a long year...

Not a happy start. Spud gets hurt and we drop 7 of the first 10 games.
Time to shift focus...

well results are mixed so far. lost to the celtics which will result in some intense training. none other than the old guys showed up. Sabonis is playing better than ever. doing it all for my team and shooting an incredible %. I am sure all the guys who told me in the offseason he is done, will regret it now. Saperstein has to step up his game or he will loose his starting job. charles is a wonderful addition to my team giving me his usual points and rebounds and passing the ball very well.

... Sabonis is playing better than ever. doing it all for my team and shooting an incredible %. I am sure all the guys who told me in the offseason he is done, will regret it now. ... that's the usual tide of events. Guys that heavily shopped in the offseason play with a chip on their shoulder in the first weeks ... then comes the point he realizes "wait, they tried to get rid of me and i'm working my butt off here?" ... the production declines heavily ... then comes either the trade or the severe depression ... and in the first case what follows is the "hey, i feel like i'm 25 again" stage where he post career numbers for the rest of the season ... until the wheels fall off either during or right after the playoffs. we've seen that so many times ...

My team reminded myself of Lebron's face after I 360 double pump TOMAHAWK dunked at him during our one on one, which I won by ten points..
