Not only the NBA returned to the court last night, SSBA made a return to game action as well
The first Preseason sim has been completed. And we have some actual games to talk again ...
 Lol 2

You will find it (again) at the temporary DJSL site, just follow this link:
http://djsl.fbbleagues.com/ssba2032temp/preseason1/index.html

I had to sign 5 players to get the Nets roster to 12 players, also 2 players for the Wizards and one for the Grizzlies. Please take care of that before sim 1 (or better, before preseason 2)

And now, let's talk game again. How did your team do ?
 Cheers

We got where we wanted on the defensive end, we're definitely got better perimeter defense than last season. Made some experiments with Adam Curley, and was quite impressed with what he can provide. But adding him to the rotation seems to hurt my team, as a whole. Very Happy

Made some minor adjustments, we'll see how it pans out. Very Happy

Well, looks like I found myself my PG.
Russel Westbrook did not shoot well (and probably will not for TC or two), but he had a triple double and 9 double doubled in 19 games.
Really have to try the Bease at SF next, I think...

well, my observation certainly worked and my new additions certainly played a huge role in improving my team this year.

A little run down for my team would be, gasol looks like a star in the making, Moiso is ready to breakout, Nick is FINALLY able to launch his own shots too. thanks to the added rebounding power.

Defensively, we are not where we want to be. this is bullshit. My backcourt isn't playing great defense right now, dpesite the A defenses.

Will try out a new lineup on preseason 2. We'll see where this one takes me as far as defense and offense is concerned. Hopefully Kersey will be able to add offensively and defensively.

WOW!

My backups absolutely killed!

I need to get Macon into the rotation more. I can either go:

SF: DeWolf
SG: MJ

or

SF: MJ
SG: Macon

It's a tough decision as DeWolf has been great too!

It's nice to be back, gotta get SSBA back into the morning routine...missed the first preseason and didn't get a chance to see what Chalmers can do, but was quite pleased with Pressey's defense, so basically I came in with the same team and had the same results, things would have prob been a lot diff had not the computer put garcia as my starter who went 31 minutes and got very minimal stats. We'll see what things look like after 2nd preseason sim Smile

Wow, missed the sim and my DC seemed really out of wack for what I would have done, but the team was 11-4. All the rebuilding might finally be turning around in Chicago..

everybody is looking good...muggsy is playing well..i hope he's production would still be the same when season comes..i like our team's rebounding...greg kite with 11 boards per game...cant wait to see what happens if i insert pryzibilla into the lineup...3 rebounders that averages 10rpg would be cool Smile

I have to say, I am really excited about Westbrook...

The other intersting thing is, the big guys seem to playing as well as they did in the draft camp.  I did not expect the B- inside guys like Gaines and Hibbert to sustain their scoring, but they did this preseason sim...

Was good. But we'll start with our usual rotation. Miller and Bill are a big plus we got in FA.
