well, not yet simmed by Tom. But was wondering what are you guys expecting and or hoping for in this year's TC?

On my part, obviously, I've been pretty much in the youth movement for the past 2 years. just want to see these guys improved. And hopefully, these improvements will translate into a very difficult strategic game for me in terms of rotations.

My backcourt is pretty much set now, all I need is some help on my frontcourt.

I'm hoping Mareese turns out to be the 18 and 10 guy of draft camp, or anything close to it will be solid.

I'm counting on Gasol and Moiso too.

I'm backing on either Shaw, Artest or Allen having a good-to-great TC. I need one of them to emerge as a starter.

Other than that, I won't ask for much. Would like to see my young rotation players be a combined positive or even in terms of overall ratings. Guys like Mokray, Gatlin, Diddle and Gallatin. Hopefully Stan and Hopson can maintain their level of play - unconcerned by their ratings at this point in their respective careers.

FA day 5 and training camps have been simmed.

Free Agent signing period will start today at NOON EST.
No signing will be accepted before then.

Preseason day 1 will start late tonight (hopefully we get at least 15 DCs in),
Preseason day 2 will follow tomorrow evening.

Reason: I want to stick to the regular season schedule starting Friday, and I don't want to give Preseason too much focus.

SO GET YOUR DCs IN NOW !!!
 Cheers

well TC wasn't pretty. my 2nd rounder improved 5 ratings, barkley and my PG both gained important ratings but the rest stayed the same or even declined.

mine too. but I a pretty young core right here. Artur and Yi had a plus 3. Nick improved his offense, and hopefully Monta stops turning over the F*ing balls.

not sure what to make of my TC

My 2nd rounder went +4, and Kleine, LJ, improved +3. But neither was really a starter.
Kenny A, Geiger, Boone, Wright, Laettner all got slightly worse.

Tough times ...
 Moon

I do like the fact that the guy i picked up for nothing, nada, zip, improved +3 as well. not that he will see lot of PT, but you gotta love those ...

Huh...  Interesting TC for my squad, not quite sure how this will work out.
Krylo Fesenko : +1 in, -1 handle - was hoping for more...
Shawn Kemp : +1 def, +1 reb - This is excellent....
Michael Beasley : +1 out, -1 in, -1 handle - maybe he really is a PF, and not a SF.
Nicolas Batum : -1 out - his drop to D potential makes me think this may have been a wasted pick
Jonah Ruffin : +1 out, up to an A : my project from last year improves, making him hopefully a deadly outside shooter.  Maybe a my starting SG?
Brandon Rush : +1 reb : his leap up to an A potential gives me hope he might develop well.
Russel Westbrook : +1 in, +1 handle : He has an unusual skillset for a PG right now. Will try him at PG, and see how he does.  A little improvement in outside shooting later on, and he could be deadly.

Overall, not what I was hoping for, but still a good TC.

That was a complete disaster. Shaw actually had a decent TC and will be the fav to start, but he is the 30 y old MLE signee, I was hoping one of my young guys would step up. Instead, 24 y old Artest and his B potential turn into a -3 overall while 23 y old B potential Allen goes totally unchanged, no good for a PG with C handles.

Instead of breaking even or being positive my group of youth (Mokray, Gatlin, Diddle and Gallatin) went a combined -2. Basically went -5 overall with my guys 27 and under that had potential.

Stan and Hopson both took a dive ratings wise, but not that concerned. As I said before, don't really care, but I know others do, so it does affect trade value.

Ugly TC. Hopefully it won't matter. Still feel like I have a pretty good team.

All those money spent buying true potentials is paying off. Glad to see my key players either improving or maintaining their ratings (Adam Curley included). Good thing I didn't sign Mark Wooten to a long contract. shoo..

Good luck to all of us this season!   Thumbs Up

Sonic Highlights

Parker Thurmond - +1 potential (I am thinking his ratings improved, just not enough to change a rating grade)
Shelden Williams - +1 rebounding (also dropped 1 outside, but that doesn't matter to me)
Danny Granger - -1 handles (I think I may try him at PF)
Taylor Doleac - -1 inside (hope his outside game remains)
Alexander Gardner - +1 defense, +1 potential
Alvin Robertson - -1 (inside, handles, defense, rebounding) This one hurts, but he is still pretty good.
Vern Fleming - -1 defense
Marcus Kersey - -1 handles
Spud Webb - -1 rebounding (the guy is 5'6'' - who really cares)

The young guys improved, the vets declined. Hope it all works this year.
