not the best competition still a solid win over spurs. i have no trouble to score at will against almost any team but my defense is still a mystery to me.

Despite the winning record at 5-3, it was a very inconsistent sim - some nice wins, big losses, and a lot of up and down performances from all of my best guys. Robinson was OK, with trying to fit him in probably a part of the inconsistency from Mags and MJ. The front court was equally unpredictable. Gonna slow down the pace to see if that helps, lucky right now to be up in the Atlantic.

All these TO's are making me want to do something rash, but I'm doing what I can to resist the urge....

Real nice showing from the Nets during the show-off weekend. Manning and Pryz were scorers 1/2 as the rooks stomped the Sophs, with Pryz playing particularly well. Mags and MJ got nods in the big game, and did what they did best this sim (cough up the ball) helping the wrong team win. MJ was second in the dunk off, getting edged by 'Nique. The Nets are also pleased to announce that traitor Kyle Macy did *not* win the chuck-off.

funny sim for the Celtics.

5-2 and currently on a 5-game win streak.
Lost at home to the Jazz by 1, before beating them on the road by 3. But after a loss in Oklahoma, we really kicked it into 5th gear, and beat the SIXERS, RAPTORS (in Totonto), and CAVS by an average of 28ppg on consecutive days.
 Cheers

The pace looks a lot more comfortable with my old team.

Nice that we're such a good shooting and rebounding team. +4 FGA is always an added bonus when you let the opponent shoot 46%.
 Cool

Finally back on winning track. 4-3 sim (altough with little luck it couldve ended up 5-2, with losses @Mavs, Nuggets, Kings by 1pt (ouch) and wins @Rockets, Wizards, @Spurs and @Magic.

In a single game that we won in Houston, 2 records were tied
Kersey scored 55 points on 22-29FG 5-83PT to tie Zach Randolph's record. In the same game Zeke had 21 assists and tied Mark Bird's as well. Incredible.
http://rosters.ssbabasketball.com/boxes/52-7.html

They were once more incredible in 1pt loss against Kings. Zeke with 19/18, Kersey scored 40 on 16-19FG 3-43PT, they can be nasty.

Clardy is definitely the suprise of the season, too bad i didnt pick him earlier from FA.

Interesting sim...

At one point I had Grant, Wedge and Profit go down injured and we still went 5-2.

4th spot in the west and I think we have a decent chance of making some noise in the playoffs. A better team than last year and in the same position.

Much better sim after the trades (3-1).  Need to find a solution to the SG spot.

ahem. don't want to kill your visible excitement, but you barely beat 3 lottery teams and lost to a 4th one this sim.
THAT's the improvement you waited 51 days for ?

3-1 is 3-1 since we struggled this season.  Still figuring out the right lineup and tempo for this team.

Balls. Lack of internet connection keeps me from getting in an updated DC, and the CPU makes an absolute mess of it. Somehow deciding that Crawford should start at PG over Kersey and that Willis should start at C and Salley at PF - where they both struggled immensely. The lone bright spots Pressey and Buck who made the East all-star squad. Stats from this sim as follows -

Offense was not even close to an issue as most critics had suggested - scored 104.4ppg. Unfortunately we also gave up an astonishing 111.5ppg as the CPU DC must have set Defense - Off.

Starters:

C - Kevin Willis - 10.8ppg / 7.4rpg / 0.9bpg

--Ouch. Way, way under his season averages, no idea why the CPU would play him at C after he is putting up career numbers at PF this year. Plan obviously is to move KWill back to PF and have Salley fill in for Kite until he returns to play after breaking his leg.

PF - John Salley - 9.1ppg / 9.3rpg / 1.9bpg

--Ouch again. Thank you, CPU. These would be great numbers for Salley to put up when he eventually refills his position as first big man off the bench. in the meantime I guess I will take 9/9/2 at C from him until Kite gets back.

SF - Buck Williams - 22.1ppg / 9.4rpg / 1.9spg / 1.1bpg

--Not his season averages obviously, but not bad. I have no idea what settings were run this sim, but I expect Buck to return to his 25/11 next sim and for the forseeable future. He shot decent precentages this sim.

SG - Paul Pressey - 19.6ppg / 5.5rpg / 4.4apg / 2.1spg / 3.3topg

--Well the turnovers are a little high, but otherwise a great audition for his new team. Great stat sheet stuffer, and he was all over the box scores for the 8 games he's played with us.

PG - Eddie Crawford - 11.5ppg / 3rpg / 7.6apg / 0.9spg / 4topg

--Ouch for the third time. Terrible numbers for the s'posed-to-be-playing-8-minutes-per-game backup.

Bench:

PG Marcus Kersey - 18mpg / 9.8ppg / 2.3rpg / 4.9apg /1spg / 1.8topg

--Fantastic backup numbers showing me if I ever stumble-upon-by-accident a better starter, I have an elite-level backup. Hopefully it never comes to that as I love Keresy's starting numbers this year.

PF/SF Morgan Saperstein - 22mpg / 14.1ppg / 4.1rpg / 1.5apg / 1.5spg

--Wow. Best individual performance of the sim. Incredible offense numbers off the bench, I think I may make him my 3rd option when I get my full roster back.

WOW! Forgot to look at all-star weekend...

Had Polynice and Muggsy in the Sophmore team and Grant was MVP for the Rookies!!!

Zack Profit has been absolutely robbed of an all-star appearance! 24.6ppg, 2.1spg and 4.6rpg. Having a career year too!

Nice to see Hersey Hawkins get an all-star nod.  Plus, a sonic won an individual event at the all-star weekend for the first time ever.  Good to see.
