Pistons trade :
Aldaberto Marquez and Tyson Thurmond

Warriors trade :
2020 1st round pick

Warriors have the cap space to absorb Marquez and Thurmond...

This trade is a good use of my cap space, imo..
I get a young center, who is already a pretty good rebounder and shotblocker.  An center was a major position of need for me.

And I also get a young PG in Marquez.  While he is overpaid (and turns the ball over a bit more then I would like), he is the best PG the Warriors have had since Hinrich left (We miss you, Kirk!!!), and fills another position of need.

And this leaves me with just under 10 million in cap space, so there is still an opportunity to sign a free agent who can contribute.

I now have a young and pretty decent staring five, with Tyson Thurmond, Cliff Robinson, Don Collins, Michael O'Neal, and Aldaberto Marquez, with Andre Iguodala as my sixth man.  I think this squad can make the playoffs with a half decent TC...
