Pacers agree.

We trade Jackson for Snow because we have a need for a pg (also shorter contract) and end up with a better pick.

Jackson is a pretty decent SF/SG, so the Spurs got a player there.

Snow is a great ball handler, but a liability everywhere else.

But moving up 2 spots may get the player that the Pacers have targeted.

The Pacers and the Bulls are now the big wild cards in the top of the lottery.

Jackson helps solidify my swing positions...Ginobili, Jackson & George.  I take on 1 additional year of salary and dump Snow who couldn't get off my bench.

Also I still can get a top point guard...Ellis, Mercer or Schenk...at the 7 spot.  If they are all 3 gone then that means Griffin will be available.  Very Happy

I think the Spurs did great on this one.  Jackson's a nice player he's added for many years, and he should still get one of the players he wants.

For the Spurs, it obviously makes sense if they get a guy they thought they couldn't before.  But Jackson is a far better player than Snow.

Hmm..wonder who Pacers will take with 5? This could end my shot at Griffin, but make Ellis availabe again.

Although the Pacers really need a PG.
