Nice to have the current FBCB College player of the year on board. Not that I need another PG but he was easily the BPA.

When doing the draft analysis i discovered an interesting fact. College potential ratings are attributed at the beginning of a players college career, and don't change over the years. Might be an explaination of the disparity between real and potential ratings in college.

So for example looking at Julius' ratings you can see that he reaches his potential already in his 2nd season. And still improves big time in his 3rd and 4th season. Now this can mean, he either overachieved already and won't improve anymore now or that he is simply better than advertised and has some great career in front of him. Save to say his scouted pot was far below his real pot, at least in college. Will be fun to find out, how this carries over to the big boys now (where he starts off with a mediocre C potential)
 Cool

On the other side, all this could mean NOTHING too. If FBB kind of starts a new life for imported rookies randomly assigning them a tru pot then we could as well throw the whole college history away.

Very interesting... What I find even stranger is that his physical abilities changed.
I woudl not expect quickness and strength to change, but they did for him.

Well, quickness didn't change, but strength and jumping ability a little bit and stamina a lot (which i'd attriute to the hours and hours spent in the weight room) as well as the "foul-pronity" (which should come with a higher basketball IQ over the years I guess)

As I said, this is just an example and I'm pretty worried that it means nothing for FBB potential. If buying a pot wouldn't be so horribly expensive here (in DJSL it's about 20% of a seasons earnings, here it's more than half of it) I'd take a look to get a better feel at Julius' true pot (and maybe some other guys with ölong FBCB careers) ...

I very much don't believe that FBB assigns a random true pot.  We won't know Julius for a few years, but we shall see.  Of course, by that time FBCB will be but a faint memory.
