incredible hornets up 3-1 with 2 home games left and lost in 7
the key imo was that the warriors increased their defense after dirk went down and the hornets couldn't defend the arc. great series congrats to both... happy to challenge you next year for the title
wow. talk about the suns-lal series. hihi

congratz warriors.

Congratz to both GMs.  Great job Warriors, taking the title back to the west. Thumbs Up

I am too pissed to be gracious in defeat. I'm still mad a day later.

Yeah, losing in game 7's are the worst.

If you want to blow up your team, i'm interested in yao.

Think I am going to blow up my team, since I did finally win...
Dirk will be available, my friends...

Honestly, I wish I would have after I won my last championship.  And that's the only reason I'm holding onto them now.  I want them to go out a winner.

Yes, I am 75% sure that I'm going to blow it up. With you coming back next year, the window has effectively closed for this group.
PM me with any ideas.

Oh what a stunning finish to the season. The WEST, yes you read that right, a WESTERN team took it all. Beat my prediction ...  Shocked

Congratulations to the Warriors for going all the way. You deserved it - as much as the Hornets would have deserved it, you both made an incredible job as GMs and are truly nice guys.
 Cheers

But does ANYONE here think the Warriors would have won the title without the Dirk injury?

I say: Not a chance, this series was done after game 4. Hornets in 6 or maybe in 7 if Dirk explodes for 54 to force a game7. But suddenly Dirk is done, the Hornets lose the SF offense since Vlad suddenly meets some defense and for the Warriors just about everyone steps up big time. Nice turnaround.

But then again, maybe I'm off here since the Warriors apparently HAVE made some change for games 4-7. They only lost game4 by one in OT, won game5 convincingly and games 7 big as well. So this might as well have been possible WITH Dirk, who knows ... at least it's the perfect example why doing the finals on 2 days to allow changes makes sense !
 Thumbs Up

So once again, hail the new champ and let's try again even harder next year.
 Hail

OK, I am done crying in the corner, and I'm ready to say congrats to the Warriors. You definitely deserved it. I think you are one of the best GMs around, and we had a great series. Congrats  Cheers

Thanks Hornets...  We had an incredible series...  If it has been real, the TV ratings would have been awesome   Very Happy

Haha, very true... But like the Suns/Lakers, the last game would have been kind of a snooze  Laughing

And I'm 100% sure you're crazy if you blow it up.

Plus, if I win a championship next year, Okafor and Pettit won't be back the following year.
