And looking at some of the players involved in recent trades...

For the magic...Jefferson appears to stay the same, as do Arbogast and Brown. Good trade for me.

For the hornets...Yao stays the same, as does Sanders.

For the Clippers...Perry drops a handle and a potential. Ouch.

+5 for Richardson?!? I did not see that coming, now that is a terrible trade that I made. As for my TC, it wasn't anything special. Gomes went up in outside, handles and defense, so he is looking very good. He will probably start for me. Other then that, nothing major happened. A few drops and a few jumps here and there, but that's about it.

Kirilenko is now an A- inside scorer, Moiso (to A- defense) and Murray (B inside) improve my depth, Shabinger is back to A- Handles and Hughes improves his inside game but evens out with a -1 from outside. Kaman stayed the same, Beardslee went down, Meyers went down, Jameer improved his handles to a B, Jones went to an A- handles. I was upset because i really felt my success this season was geared on Kaman at least improving in one area, but I did not expect Kirilenko improving again which I am really happy for. If anything I feel that my starters and their backups complement each others talents fairly well and I am a beter team than last year where I was a 7th seed, depends how that rates with the other powerhouses in the league.

Had a great TC, rookies sucked +/- but the others did good.

Especially happy with Haywood improving rebs and handling, Finley his
shooting, Buehler now a A- rebounder, Houbregs definitely will never be
a D man but he can score a lot, rookie Clement improved defense but
looks like a good guy for the future.

...and well Telf stayed the same, Schultz droped out but gained inside.

I really feel sorry for you.

I've never seen something like this before. None of your rotation players (not starters, the whole 12 man active roster) has gained a single rating except for Antonio Turkoglu on inside. That's simply unbelievable ...

That same 12 guys lost a total of 7 ratings on defense, 4 on offense and 3 on boards. That is not fair, no GM should endure such a TC.

As you said, OUCH ...

that's a very nice increase for kirilenko.  Besides now being a top notch defender, he's a very tough offensive matchup, and a capable rebounder.

really wish you had decided to blow it up a few years ago (in your championship years).  He'd be a great SF for me  Laughing

And Jason Richardson is just insane.  improving 5 slots at 29 years old.

And that really sucks for the pistons.

huge TC for Berkowitz as well. +1 in def and reb.  He's gonna be a monster.

Livingston now an A+ ballhandler.

If you look at Kirilenko's awards and honors, he's never been the best scorer, the best rebounder, the best stealer, the best blocker, or player of the week/month heck he doesn't get much recognition from the program overall. But he does have 2 rings and stays pretty consistent year after year, and i wouldn't wnat to have to play against him. I've been waiting and waiting for him to put up double doubles/ triple/doubles on a more frequent basis but it hasn't materialized yet. I was hoping when the shaq's and tim duncan's and KG's fall off the map a little that the 2nd wave of superstars with kirilenko, lebron, etc would play in my favor but those guys are still doing their things and AK47 has just been getting older. Hopefully I'll see this turn around this season, but time and injuries will tell.

No big surprises for my team, which if fine.

Mehta's up to B/B+/A- which is nice.  Ferry down to C/C in defense and rebounding, which is not nice.  Mark Bird had a good enough TC to make him a worthwhile addition.

Wow. Wasn't Ferry B+ defense at one point?

Clippers dropped overall, but not something to worry about too much. It is not a huge drop.

What we gained is pretty much meaningless:
Chandler: +1 handling
Maggette: +1 rebounding
Bee: +1 inside
Luckett: +1 handling
