All right here it goes, Zbo is getting older by the season, and as soon as his contract is up after next season, lets face it, hes gone. I traded down for the younger player who is locked up long term, while the 2nd rounders help a bit in other deals.

ZBo just turned 27.  He's averaging 31/13.  After the success of the Spurs and Celtics last year, it should show that when you continually build for the future you never succeed in the present.  Randolph had many, many years left.  Don't like this trade.  If Biedrins was this monster defensively I could see.  But he's a B- at pf and a B at center.

I did this because I am fed up with Biedrens. He is to inconsistent in training camps. More importantly, however, my team seemed to win much more when biedrens was on the bench. I welcome randolph to the grizzlies who has been consistently getting 25-30 ppg and lots of rebounds.

The only thing is that this year biedrens played as my 3rd option and got 20 pgg so i can see him getting 25-30 ppg with the blazers.

I really like this for the Grizz....one of the adjustments I made in last year's playoff win over them was to attack Biedrins with Etan Thomas by making him an option.
