WOW, my second round pick Dean Drew ended up winning Rookie of the Year... He obviously did not do as well statistically as Wells, Koegan etc but I guess FBB factors in how well the team did as well. Funny thing is Drew didn't even make the Allstar Rookie game yet he won the ROY and 1rst team rookie
Tractor Traylor also took home 6th man of the year.
I'm happy about keeping homecourt from the Celtics although he beat me by 10 this sim. I might have to tweak my lineup a bit

And of course, being a real TEAM none of my Celtics made any kind of postseason team or award. No problem with me, this squad isn't built around individual achievements ... .

Wells didn't make it because he missed the last 18 games (and I still had him listed as a SG even though he played SF all year). Hell, he sure would have made the team had he been listed as an SF - my other rookie, SF Richard Ahye made the 2nd team and he only played 28 games

The Celts won 18 of their last 22 road games, beating every team from this east on their home court except the Pacers (and power houses Sonics, Jazz from the west). Call this a turnaround: after they started the year 2-11 away from home the Celts went 21-7 in road games since !!! The downside of the final season rankings: with the Bulls and Celtics, two of the hottest teams currently have to meet in the first round (#2 and #4 leaguewide since sim8) and the winner will most likely face the #1 hot team Nets. In the West, there's a similar storyline developing, with the two hottest teams there also having a 1st round "date". Sonics and Warriors are #3 and #6 in the league. But at least the winner of this series can avoid the Clippers ...

Well, now that the RaptorsGM has gotten over his intense hatred of the FBB program, he wishes to say congratulations to the NetsGM for his 66 win season.

Some very close matchups this season, but nothing really to go on.
First, the Warriors overhauled their team. Second, in the three final matchups, Peja was out due to injury.
This series should be very close, although I expect the Sonics to win in 6.
Ah yes, Peja is back. it should be interesting to see what he does. The Sonics seemed to explode when he went on the IL, his return should make for a tough decision... This series will likely go to 6 or 7.
