Hmm...New guy making a splash.

Not a bad trade for him though.

I give up a lot in this deal.  AI, just wasn't working out too great for me, could have been my style but he scored less for me than with the Sixers.  I give up Tayshaun who I love but Ivan and Iggy should fill in nicely for him.  The Sixers 1st shouldn't be a great pick and my 2011, well I'm a top 5 pick year in and year out so that definitely kills me.  But Gilbert is a very good scorer and is only 24.  He's also a top defender in the league as he has been all league defensive team once.  Etan Thomas is a beast inside and will compliment Gadz very well.  Kenny Thomas is also a good rebounder which will help.  All in all I give up more than I wanted to but I think it would be worth it.

Well that's a biggie. Let's see if AI and Amare can be a winning duo. It could work. Wizards are left without a center here though. Amare could do just as good there, if that's what he goes with. All in all, it's basically AI and the picks for Etan and Arenas. I think it's about an even trade here, actually. But hey Hawks, you skipped from Manu and Houbregs to Arenas and Thomas. Seems very similar, don't you think?  Wink

lol, yea, I thought about that after we came to terms.  I said going from Manu and tanner to Gilbert and Etan is pretty similar except Etan will get me more boards and Gilbert should score more than Manu who are both playing well I might add Evil or Very Mad

AI's probably the best current player of the group, but Arenas and Thomas will be useful longer.  Losing that pick hurts, though.

I actually feel that Arenas is the best player in the deal but it's close.  He and AI have similar stats but I'm hoping Arenas will be better for me in the wins column, also Etan Thomas is the kicker for me, A B+ is really nice to have down low, but he's similar to Gadz which will probably hurt both of their stats.
