my reason to do this trade is to have a big man in my front court...althogh i have good trade proposal for RJ but i like gasol more because of my needs... maybe i gave up a little more with my first rounder but im aiming to make it in the playoffs so it would probably be useless.... pistons would have good backup players and RJ starting...with two youths on next years draft...while i get a solid frontcourt that could rebound and block shots for me....

Pistons agree...
Pistons also Waive Kareem Rush to make the trade work(he is worthless anyways)...
With Ferry already in my frontcourt there was too much offensive power and not enough defense and rebounding... Doleac should be a good fit at PF next to Ferry and Jefferson should fill my hole at SG(even though he is more siuited for SF)... And the Picks are a big bonus... Bucks should be a High Lotto pick and the Heat should be a mid-1st...

With those two picks, I think Detroit definitely gets the edge here.

Jefferson drops to a B defensively when moved to SG. I'm not sure he's going to be the fit you're looking for defensively.
Pistons have definitely stockpiled some nice draft picks for this coming draft, but for immediate impact I think the heat won.

Jefferson is quite a step-up from Sprewell's "C" defense... And all I want Doleac to do is rebound and play defense... I don't think I could have gotten a much better package...
And with those Picks I currently have the #5, 6, and 10 Picks...

I like this for the Heat, Gasol is just a better star player than Jefferson and he can play 2 positions and not lose production. The Bucks pick still has time to fall, however it is seeming unlikely unless they make a move.

Fact: Gasol is a better player than RJ Fiction: 2 1st rounders and michael doleac makes the deal equall for both teams.
Pistons: Gasol: 18.1ppg 10.4rpg 1.4spg 2.2bpg
Nets: RJ: 16.5ppg 5.2rpg 2.5apg 1.1spg .1 bpg Doleac: 9.1 ppg 9.1spg 1.4spg 1.6bpg
I think that the 2 first rounders should not be included in the deal, if its purpose needs to be a fair deal for both teams.

Steal for the Heat. I wish that I knew that Gasol was available.
