Miami
Trades: Eddie Jones, Qyntel Woods, Rasual Butler, rights to Albert Miralles, 2 2nd round picks, cash
Recieves: Antoine Walker, Jason Williams, James Posey, Andre Emmett, rights to Roberto Duenas

Boston
Trades: Antoine Walker
Recieves: Curtis Borchardt, Qyntel Woods, rights to Albert Miralles, 2 2nd round picks, cash

Utah
Trades: Kirk Snyder, Raul Lopez, Curtis Borchardt
Recieves: Greg Ostertag

Memphis
Trades: Jason Williams, James Posey, Andre Emmett, Greg Ostertag
Recieves: Eddie Jones, Raul Lopez

New Orleans
Trades: rights to Roberto Duenas
Recieves: Kirk Snyder, Rasual Butler

I think Jerry West's legend as a great GM is about to collapse...  This is a terrible trade for Memphis, imo...  Especially since Lopez is just a contract that has already been bought out.
For Boston it works, since I doubt they truly wanted Antione Walker back at all.
New Orleans does a great job.  They basically get Snyder and Butler for nothing.
Bad trade for Utah, unless Kirk Snyder truly is a terrible player.

And for Miami...  For goodness sakes this trade is incredible.
Jason Williams is a good point, Posey is a very good defensive player, and Walker will likely start at the PF spot.  With Williams, Walker, Shaq and Wade, Miami has by far the best passing team in the league...

Kirk is a terrible locker room guy. he is very selfish as proved already under sloan.
i am not sure if the trade is really so good for miami since they will loose a lot of def. Walker will start at sf since haslem is resigned.

i think memphis did a great job a trading most of their big contracts and trouble players. they still have talent and solid vets.

I do not think Miami has to lose defense...
They could easily start Posey at SF, and Walker at PF, with Haslem off the bench.
That would give Shaq tons of room in the paint, since Walker does enjoy that perimeter play.  And Wlaker would get wide ipen shot off of Shaw double teams.  Posey, at this point, is probably a better defender then Ediie Jones is.

Posey at this point IS a better defender than jones.  And I believe Posey will be the starter at the 3.

Had not heard that about Kirk.  Not saying it's not true, but I hadn't heard that, although I hadn't been following the situation very closely.

Although, you have to be even happier with the Iggy pick now for Philly...  because rumor had it Snyder was next on BK's list.

I had not heard that about Snyder either.
