In another continuation effort to correct the roster after the Cavs/Celtics deal the team that will be feared as the Boston Celtics very soon is proud to announce these trades (for the readers convenience in ONE timesaving thread):
Wolves trade
SG Fred 'Mayor' Hoiberg
to Celtics for
PG Marcus 'i want a cool nickname too' Banks
... which is working according to the trade tracker ...
and furthermore, these veteran stars switch teams, lockers and wives:
Boston Celtics trade
Jamal Mashburn, SF
to the Minnie Wolves for
Howard Eisley, PG
.. and this time no cuts are needed!
(Reasons to follow after acceptance)

No why in the world would I do this ?
Simple answer: playing time for my kids
I didn't need Mash at SF as Rod White and Pietrus will take most of the playing time. On the other hand my PG was stuffed with Rookie Snow and 2nd year West. I was thinkin of a steady vet as insurance if either doesn't pan out. Banks wouldn't be the answer, so Eisley and his expiring (basically same as Mash) help.
The Mayor is only filler as my weakest (in terms of future outlook) position has the vet in Barry already, but the young gun is still missing. Fred and his expiring won't hurt though and has trade value.
So this team is all about development and future cap space will help next year in FA as well.

It's Fred "The Mayor" Hoiberg. Not Major.
I just had to correct that
