2029 170 Supersonics SF Larry Bird retires
2029 170 Celtics C Raul Doleac retires
2029 170 Clippers PF Jon Beardslee retires
2029 170 Nets C Kyle Dial retires
2029 170 Celtics PF Jeremy Munson retires

... as LARRY LEGEND finally hung up his sneakers. His agent confirmed that Larry aggrevated his troubled back injury during the lockout period in recent weekes and feels uncomfortable going through the rigors of another season not fully healthy.

Of course, the Larry Bird in SSBA was a far cry from the original version, hardly being more than a good player here - maybe even a star, but clearly no franchise player. Lousy 2 AllStar births and one All League team award (peaking with 27/7/4 in 2023) in 14 title-less seasons, and just 1 (ONE!) triple double. Still, this is one of the alltime great players in world basketball and he should be honored here.

Oh, and my Jerry Munson called it's quits as well. Thanks Jem, you were a great guy to have, even when you too came a little too late to Boston for a title run. But as an AllLeague teamer until last season you will definitely get HOF considerations from the comittee. Thumbs Up

amazing. not only is he 41 years old already, but he's entering his TWENTYFIFTH (25. !!!) season in SSBA now. That's by far exceeding every previous record for sim leagues IMO ...

Still, considering his salary i'm not sure if it's good luck or bad luck for you

he is by far one of the best players at this kind of salary. and i would be over the cap anyway. i am sure he will retire as the best player ever in SSBA history.
