Good luck Lakers in this unprecedented 7/8 conference finals matchup.

Quite unprecedented. Should make for an interesting series - I get this sinking feeling that one of you Cinderellas are taking the whole thing, no matter what we do here in the East.

I have some Cavs-related anxiety, should be a good matchup. I need to neutralize his bigs abit, and think I have a few ways to do so - and need to cut down on my TO's, but have no idea how to do that with these guys. Actually, Timmy IIRC posted a rare quad-doub in the last series to help us fall to 1-3, and I'm still not sure how it did not end up being the final nail in the coffin.

Wow, didn't expect to sweep, or even win for that matter. Surprised I made it so far. Can't take the Sonics lightly, should be a good series.

I am VERY happy to see the Sonics come through. I think nobody changed his team more than he did in recent years (of very low league activity) until finding the right combination that works. He deserves success now as much as anyone here.

Let's not forget they were among the worst teams last season with 32 win - and had not made the playoffs for 5 season prior to the current one, making the finals appearance even more remarkable (especially considering they would not have reached post season play this season too if winning just 2 less games).

And while the Cavs and their run should not be forgotten either, it's not really surprising. Only two seasons ago they were leading the league with 65 wins and looked like the coming dynasty (only to get swept by the Pacers in the 2nd round). So they just returned where they belong now.

Good luck - and no injuries - to both now !
