Unlike last year, I think this year would be a very good season for the league. I don't think that there is a team that is "head over shoulder" above the rest. And there are a number of teams that did upgrade into "elite" status.
With the Sim 1 performance of my team, I think their youth cast a dark shadow of inconsistency. We're -7 in PPG, compared to during preseason. We struggled, heavily, in sim 1. Mr. "I can shoot with my eyes close" Petrovic, had a hard down knocking down threes. While the Mailman, still struggles with the new profound system and the new brand of offense. While Luisetti and Johnny Martin, were convincing everyone including themselves and their fanbase (about 2) that they belong in the league.
On the brightside, the turn-overs weren't as ugly compared to the previous seasons. Trey Wooten was an intimidating force in the defensive end with his 4bpg. Julius Erving has the coaching staff contemplating for more playing time for him. But sadly, the management is pretty convinced that the Petrovic era has arrived. Eric Wu was like a fine wine, he's scoring at 17ppg and is one of the top 10 in FG%. (btw, he's on the block).
Im looking forward for my guys to comeback stronger next sim, specially on the offensive end.

Ian Magloire IS a beast. Not sure why I ever let him go. But let's talk Celtics here. 6-1 is a nice start, especially with the starting SG going down for all but the first 1.5 games. Beating both eastern conf finals teams by 19 and 20 pts respectively does tell us we're doing something right. Far from perfect and still too much Tripucka shooting, but nice. Not sure what I like more, the 10+ppg point differential or the 13+ diff in rebounding. Also, going to the line 14 more times than the opponents proves the aggressiveness is there as well. Hooray ! Btw, when we talk about beasts don't ignore Jerry Munson. 20+/10+/3+ blocks on 54% shooting (highlight? Holding Sabas to a triple double. No really, Sabas did get 28/10/10 on 23 shots, but Munson countered with 29/6 and 7 blocks, shot 11-13 himself, forced 6 Sabonis TOs ... all while fouling out in 30 minutes) The whole frontline looks great now with Munson, Rick Mahorn (held Hakeem to 9pts and 2 reb !!) and Hunt who finally proved worth of a starting spot. And the backcourt will come along too. Embry rediscovered his playmaking skills, hope the shooting will follow in a slightly different role. Finally a season to look forward to ...

5-1 sim...but deceptive. Fat went down in game 3 and is out until after the all-star break. Without Lever my turnovers increased 5+ per game. Second to last in turnovers per game but still forcing my opponents into more.
Barkley is loving his natural position at PF - 28 pts, 12.5 rebs, 3.5 assts and shooting over50%.
Will need to look at my DC and try some different tweaks until Fat gets back.

Very bizzare 2-3 sim. Exact same lineup as PS2 with only change being Blackman as option 1, Nique as 2....and the results and stats were completely different. All of the sudden, Kite has become a top-tier shotblocker, and my team is scoring 10ppg less. Obviously need to have Nique as option 1.
Pretty shocked at how different a simple change can make things.

Ian Magloire is a beast....
Yeah, I know....and I'm an idiot One of those bizarro FBB sims for the Nets. Start off 0-2, then Dial and MJ get hurt, and we reel off three wins. I'm all fired up about my team D, and we give up an ungodly # of ppg. Horrible shooting from Thunder Dan, MRob, MJ and Jonny Contract, with out of this world shooting from Big Kyle and Adam; our two most efficient guys were non-options; with four games on the road, and two wins. I guess the 3-2 is almost a gift. Fortson endeared himself to the Jersey faithful with an excellent first showing at the point - very efficient %'s and a:to ratios. Nice first sim for FA signee Allyn Jolley, too - shot over .500 and had many more assists than giveaways. If he can keep that up, he can keep the job. Pryz was excellent - plenty of b+spg, good %'s, and protecting the ball - a bit more grit on the glass, and this guy is an all-league player.

1-5 sim... My only win was against the 1-7 Bulls... Had a tough schedule (cavs x3, hornets, pacers), but I don't think that was the only reason for my losses... CPU settings were much worse than what I tried in the pre-season... gonna shake stuff up again next sim...
