Nets agree.
I wasn't having much luck scoring the vet big that I wanted with what I had to offer, so getting a young one is the next best thing.
While he's probably not as strong a contributor as Wennington is right now, I think I'm in a strong enough position atm to take the temporary downgrade with Wanzer for the upside that he provides: good size, a good scorer, and kept his B pot after TC. I think he can be a building block up front for me along with Pryz, Manning and Jonny Contract.
The second thing I wanted, of course, was to preserve my cap flexibility heading into the offseason and with a bit more depth than I had going in this year: Wanzer gives me that, and the cash allows me to extend Koncak on the cheap. I can still go shopping.
