I was equally impressed by Morris and Pryzbilla, but in the end loved Pryz's balanced skill set as a big - he's kinda "Bailey Tobey Light", literally- and as Raptors GM Brian Colangelo says, has the talent-to-size ratio to be special. His potential is superb, he's going to slide to the 4 for me where his weight might be less of an issue.

I'm ecstatic about having these skillsets and sizes manning (no pun intended) the 3/4 for me for the next while:
22 7'0'' 229 B- C+ C B C+ A
22 6'10'' 230 B+ B- C A- C+ B

Nice to get Steve, i was hoping to get Przy but that was impossible with #19, to get Steve at #19 is great still.

I love the Jonathon Przybilla pick. I have him in my top 5 list. It's just Rod Strickland has a better rating, and when I checked Rod's potential, it was the highest Pot I've seen in this draft so far. If I could have turned back time and checked out Przybilla's potential, things might turn out differently.

Your tune *might* change by the time the off-season is over.  Moon

Or maybe not  Alcoholic

In any event, I still get this Rodney Dangerfield feeling.....

The thing I should add of course, is that yes, I realize this is a risky pick. From looking at the ratings, you can't "see" if a big has a scoring mentality or if they are shotblockers: I've seen B- B- scorers put up 22pg on decent teams and other B B+ guys struggle to put up double digits as options in any offence. But, if he (JP) is either, good. If he's both, fantastic. If he's neither....dang.

hey, your pick is perfectly fine. Probably should have gone in the top 8, although he's no C - and probably never will - at 225lbs

That's all well and good, Tom, especially since I don't plan on playing him at C, as I stated in my first comment in this thread. I suppose he might get some grooming time at backup C/PF/SF depending on the rest of FA and what he shows in pre-season - but he's either my 3 or 4 of the future.

BTW, I'm really looking forward to the last chunk of the first round. I'll be curious to see who Sonics scoops with the Hornets pick I gave him, and am of course curious to see who will be available at 30 for me.
