This was not, by any stretch of the imagination, an easy deal to make.

Max represents all that is the Toronto Raptors - a career Raptor save for approx 45 games of his rookie season. He is as consistent as any other player in the league, and his a:to is incredible. 9 seasons with the Raptors, 3 all-star appearances, 1 Playoff MVP.

Thank you Max for everything you have given us. But with the addition of Barton, it was simply time to part ways.

Getting Natt, the 2nd coming of Lenard (but with some defense), was an oppurtunity I could not pass up. Former 21ppg scorer who put up 17 in 24 mins the first preseason sim. On a team lacking scoring punch, he can make an immediate impact. And at 23, he should continue to make that impact for a long, long time.

Among the career NBA leaders in FG% was the real-life Natt, so I'm hoping he will be significantly raising his percentages from his first 3 seasons (more like preseason).

Welcome Natt, and now lets hear from the CelticsGM about why his offers were so much better than this  Moon Laughing

For me it was pretty obvious.  I've always had a thing for PG's that can shoot from the outside and don't turn the ball over.  I had an extra wing player with the acquisition of Rolando, whom while I don't think will average the 20 ppg he did in the preseason, I do think will put up around 14-15 ppg, which with his defense deserves to be starting.  Now with Blackman/Bradley/Max I have a very good outside shooting trio, which will hopefully help Worthy who struggled last sim.
