With the injury to English, I am forced to start Mason Mercer, who has really fallen on hard times.

McPhereson, despite his potential, hasn't grown into anything more than an Injured Reserve candidate.

Bolinger will be a perfect compliment to this system, adding an offensive-minded PG who can score and distribute the ball

with the Uner trade this makes a LOT more sense for the Sonics.

Out is washed up English, who peaked like 10 seasons ago (on the Sonics, ironically) and (somwhat promising) Nigel, plus that C they had no use for.

In come Eddie Uner, a MAJOR upgrade at PG, Sylvester who will make a great defensive backup, and former starter Boblinger (i said "starter", not "starting material", mind you), who at 6'5" can play SG too (he won't defend anyone anytime soon, but a scoring backup with handles can never hurt).

Expect useless Mercer (about the only guy who can make English look like an AllStar in comparison) to be cut in an instant, and only rightfully so ...
