Boston Trades:
Gary Payton 2007 2nd round pick
Seattle Trades:
Luke Ridnour Mikael Pietrus Robert Traylor
Why for the Celts: The Celtics are a bit thin on the front court and Traylor will add a bit of depth when Raef goes down with the eventual injury. Ridnour is a young point who can hopefully contribute some meaningful minutes behind West. Pietrus adds defensive help to a team in desperate need.

Sonics Agree:
I get rid of some contracts for a player who will help me compete in the playoffs this year.
I should remain very competitive this season, with the ability to start anew next year.

Thanks for doing it a SECOND TIME. Dealing a player we are discussing I mean. I mean dude. Seriously notify teams youre talking to about the player before you go and pull the trigger. I mean i recieved no pm or anything.

No need to get snippy.

Hmm, I wonder what this does to the Celtics, losing their starting PG and all... Hopefully it makes them worse

You never told me you were probably doing something else. Actually, you never answered my last pm. You deal without notifying, and thats unbelievably frustrating when youre talking about a player with someone and suddenly find out hes just been dealt. You did this to me twice and i remember raptors gm having the same problem. You HAVE to notify other gms when youre talking about a player and you want to deal them to another team. Not doing so just ruins trade credibility,

Pretty even trade. Celtics get some young players for depth and the Sonics get a solid veteran PG.

you are mistaken then, cuz the message was this, If you can give up a pick along with them, I'll do it.
My two players are better than your two. So a pick makes it even.
