one thing i don't like at all, and this won't go down without some action to be determined, is scoring 119 points on a mere 17 assists. What is this? A Highschool Allstar game with just 1-1 play?
of course it is highschool ball. tell your coach to stop showcasing all the youngster who can´t pass.

Well, a 5-2 sim this time, not bad... First game with Jackson Finley starting was against the Suns, and there seemed to be some offensive issues in that game, as well as some defensive ones. Both Finley's played well in their new roles, and I will give them another sim or two to settle into a rhythm. Jackson Finley is a very effecient scorer (46%) from the center position on this squad, and his rebounding was excellent (11.7 rpg in 32 mpg) Only worry is the defense. Jim Finley gets about 1.5 spg and 1 5 bpg, and Jackson cannot match that. And Congratulations Dirk, on receiving the All-Star MVP Award. And also to Kirk Hinrich, on his 2nd All-Star game appearance. Preston Barbosa got robbed in the Slam Dunk competition!!! BTW, Eddie Uner has snuck up and truly become one of the better point guards in the elague.

And just a curiosity... Dirk Nowitzki, in my mind, is definitely an MVP candidate. Leading the league is scoring by 6 ppg, shooting 50% from the field, and he is averaging 7.7 rpg and 4 apg from the small forward position. His defense is not stellar (1.2 spg and 0.9 bpg), but he has not even won a player of the week award yet... Conspiracy????

3-4 sim but loss twice to the Hornets - both games by 1 point. Loss to the Pacers in the final game but without my starting PF/2nd option Kim who was down 2 1/2 games. Other loss was to the Mavs. Beat teh Knicks, Sonics & Nuggets
Big news was the player of the week honors for PG Eddie Uner who has been amazing all year. First time ever for a Spurs player. Uner was also a member of the west All-Star team (again a Spurs first) and split the PG duties with Hinrich.

Looking at some of the players who have won player of the week (Khoury for example), Dirk should have a few. Hell, this last week, Carmelo had back to back games of 69 and 51 points, and Dwight Howard takes the award.

I had another very nice sim, but was disappointed that Shaun didn't make the AS team.

Wow...just realized that Gasol went out in game 1 without contributing in that game.
In what will be my toughest sim of the year, I went 5-3 without Gasol.

That is because I moved Gordon to SG. Anyway, Uner deserves that spot as well.

And that is what we play for right?! BTW, Kings of the Rebound? Take a look at Chandler and Brand in the all star game. A combined 26 rebounds in a combined 58 minutes!

Neither Emeka or Pettit have ever won a player of the month.
Heck, Emeka has 7 POTW and Pettit 6. In their careers. That's less than 1 POTW/year.

Heck, Emeka has 7 POTW and Pettit 6. In their careers. That's less than 1 POTW/year. Well, they suck then... You should trade them Only 10 POTW for Dirk in his career. But Since Yao has 24 (an entire year season's worth), and Garnett has an amazing 39!!!, well, there are not that many to go around...
