So are you saying depth is inconsequential?

We all realize you can only have 5 men on the court.  If depth doesn't matter, I will just move Al Jefferson over to my team.

Hey bods, don't overreact. The Celtics beat you just once, I don't think it's time for panic moves for the nets already ...


But I agree that Jefferson would be a huge update over Battier or Emeka in your starting lineup.

No, what I find rather amusing is the fact that everyone suddenly acts as if the Nets, Pacers, Hornets became unbeatable for years by adding a very good 6th man.

Now this IS a valueable position, no doubt, but some games this guy gets 15mpg, where its hard to make a major impact.

Did these 3 teams get better. Definitely.
Will they rule our division for the next  three seasons? Probably.
Will they do so because of these recent deals? No.
