Yup, eastern conference playoff race looks to be about wrapped up.  Only question is if the Cavs can catch the 76ers.  Celtics jumped up to 5 and Raptors 8th.

West is still entertaining.  Kings and Warriors are hanging on...but not by much.  Mavs and Spurs are only 0.5 games back, but Spurs are pretty much inconsequential with Ray going down.

I could also catch Cavs or Sixers...

BTW Raptors, with a 5-4 sim, your single season win record is gone.  Now, I will be playing my starters, because I also need a 5-4 sim to mathematically eliminate the Pacers from the #1 seed.

I wish you the best of luck,

I'm very proud of that record, but the one I am more proud of is being the best team histoically.

All right, a statistical breakdown.

I averaged 112.3 ppg, compared to my opponents' 95.4. That adds up to a difference of 16.9 ppg. Great.

For the sim, Yao averaged 37.4 ppg, 13.5rpg, 3.1 apg and 3.6bpg. Amazing numbers.

Hoffa averaged 30.1ppg, 13.9rpg, 2.4apg and 1.4bpg.

Knowing that these two are locked up for many years to come makes me feel very good about my team.

Diddle averaged 8.3ppg, 3.5rpg and 1.1 apg...an off sim for him, but I just don't think he's SF material Wink

Lovie averaged 7.8ppg, 3.6 rpg and 2.8apg...on 50% shooting...couldn't really ask for much more out of him...is he the cheapest starter in the League?

And finally, Nash averaged 11.5ppg, 13.8apg and 7rpg...and....wait for it....2.3 topg (!!) giving him an a:to ratio of 6:1. Holy cow. BARON WHO??

6-2 sim pretty solid

Congrats to the celtics for their run... the celtics would have been unbeaten if they haven´t played my team. in two consecutive sims his only loss. Rolling Eyes

my team is ready for the POs

i will give artest and carmelo a rest in the next sim since i believe that i can´t change my position anymore. i am not sure what my single season record of wins is but i am sure i am pretty close.

some stats from the last sim:
JO had his usual 30,5/14
Melo almost avg a double with 17/9

allowed only 85ptspg with 38% from field and 33% from 3
scored an avg. of 101 and had a plus in almost any cat except of course TOs  Very Happy

very disappointing season. last sim was a big hit.

still, my team will fight for the 8th.

btw, I might have the worst playoff journey in the whole SSBA.. :S

anyway, Arenas showed Manu how to play defense by recording 6 steals.

Against Pau, Dwight recorded 28, 11 and 4blocks Very Happy

Mcgrady is carryin his team to the playoffs all by himself. Smoked the Suns with 42pts, Rockets with 35 and 40 against Blazers. Also had 47 pts effort against Sonics.

Marbury is establishing himself as maybe as top PG at this momment. Now i just realize how much he suffered in slow pace with big lineup. Destroyed Hinrich in a win over GS with 39pts and 13asists and 6 steals, nice 10/10 vs Suns, 24pts and 11asists vs Wizards and took Telfair to school with 25pts and 12rebs, 5rebs.

2-2 is what I expected from this sim...although the loss of Allen in the second game will probably cost me the playoffs.  3 games on the road where I beat the Nuggets (without Ray) and lost to the Wolves and Pacers.

Still there is hope in San Antonio of sneaking into the playoffs as the final sim is 4 home games and only 1 on the road.  Also face 3 lottery teams in that stretch.  However definately need some help from others to regain the 8th seed.

Now what can I say. It's an unbelievable run, I'm really so proud of this team.

Going 6-1 losing only to the Pacers - who are the only team I have big trouble with every time - my record moved 5 games above .500 which is a new all-time high for the Celtics (at least during my time as GM).

The playoffs are a definite possibility now, something no one but me believed in after starting the season 4-18 (and I NEVER gave up on that goal even one single second). You mean, they are a given now that i hold the 5th spot? Well, the Cavs can easily go 5-0, so I need to win 4 of my last 7 to be really save.

Again, I was feasting on a lucky schedule, facing the (not-so) Magic twice without Kidd and the Heat twice in their worst time (losing 20 of 21 !!!), but also beat direct playoff competitor 76ers and won at the playoff-bound Mavs for the first time EVER.

Amazingly enough I went 4-1 on the road which leaves me now with a WINNING ROAD RECORD for the season (21-18 currently) and just a 19-17 home record. Think I'm worried about homecourt (dis-)advantage ... ?

I LUV THIS TEAM !  Cool

At least that explains why you lost 12 of your last 16 games - and dropped from the #3 seed to #10 in the process.

But no, it's not all your fault, who could have foreseen Kidd is as durable as a piece of paper tissue. Just the Arenas mess is something you'll have to take responsibility for  ...

Got my first look at B. Miller off the bench.
27 mpg, 15 ppg, 9.3 rpg, 1.2 bpg, 51% shooting.  That's 6th man of the year type numbers.

My PF/C rotation
Okafor: 36.5 mpg, 21.5 ppg, 12 rpg, 3.5 apg, 2.5 bpg, 48% shooting, 69% ft
Dalembert: 31 mpg, 8.7 ppg, 12.3 rpg, 3.3 bpg
Miller: 27.1 mpg, 15 ppg, 9.3 rpg, 1.2 bpg, 51% shooting.

That's great production from 3 people.

Bailey Snow started 6 games while Boykins was down.  18 ppg, 5.8 apg, 55% shooting, 61.5% 3pt.  Guess he likes the open looks Pettit gives him.  His A/TO was pretty bad, though.  I was 5-0 in those games.

I mean did you check who this games were against ?

4 STRAIGHT AGAINST THE HEAT. This was a Home-2-Home-2-Home-2-Home series with Bailey going against Damon Jones four times (including that one 29pt outburst to pad his averages). The fifth game at home against the Wizards' Vince Davies he had an A/TO ratio of 6:8 !!!

But the shooting was great, I knew that little fellow had it in him. He just never showed it with any consistency for me ...
