i know how much disccus and wonders was over win ratings but i was thinking at this at the first moment but i thought it was too easy to be true. but try this; my example: i have 44 win ratings. last year i have won 49 games, this year 39. that's 88 wins over 2 years. divide that with 2 and that's 44. i don't know, maybe it's coincidence, but you should try this...

Obviously it is a little more involved....
Knicks 63-101 34 win rating
Sonics 63-101 40 win rating (1 yr in playoffs)
Bulls 64-100 38 win rating
Spurs 65-99 37 win rating
