Just wondering what you guys think.

Do we stay put and wait for Tom or have another interim commish until he thinks it would be time to come back?

Tom has indicated to WizardsGM that he is willing to pass the file to someone else.

Well, before anything else, we need to make sure we're not the remaining GMs still checking this site.

I can sim if I'm the last resort. But I'd need to b educated about the uploading, etc.

Unfortunately I have too much going on right now to sim, so I'm not an option.

I'm still here, and Hoping to continue the league. I am willing to help out in anyway possible, but I (like most here) have limited time. I really dont want this 6 year tradition to go away, so I'll do my best to pitch in and help out

I think if we can get at least half of the league to post whether they'll continue or not, we are good to go... :S

I can help in simming btw, but if you guys think there are others who may fit in better, I don't mind.

Has it really been six years?  Wow...

this is the second version of SSBA, and alot of us were here during that time(Myself,Hawks,Magic,Sixers,Trev,Hornets,Derek and more im sure im missing) and I'm pretty sure we started in 2004.

Im still here.. Waiting.. Trey Wooten is getting out of shape because of the lack of SSBA action. He's doing Pilates right now to get in shape.

I can run the sim if need, until Tom decides to run it again..

But I wouldn't mind if others think they will be better commish for the league.

I've sent PMs to the other GMs who have yet to post here, hopefully they respond.

If we can get at least 15 GMs back, I think the league is still in good condition to continue.

What do you guys think?

I just talked with Bods. He said the last uploaded file was from 2 months ago. My conjecture is that it would be around playoffs of last season or offseason.

I'm trying to acquire the current league file from Tom, hopefully we can have it asap.

Just trying to get the league back where it started. It will be nearly 6 years of SSBA soon.

I'll admit that I've lost a lot of interest, but I can still participate. I definitely can't sim, though.

I've lost interest, but mostly because my team sucks.

I'll stick around, but I don't know for how long.

I would definitely still like to continue. Simming requires some dedication which I am not willing to do. I hope someone will!

Currently, I don't have a life and live in front of my computer and yes, I will be simming.

Right now, the current file saved on the server is the file from 2 months ago. Which would likely mean that most of the sims were not processed yet.

I'm waiting for Tom to have the current league file handed over. Hopefully we can get it ASAP.

Two scenarios that I think we need to tackle before we move on:

Go back from the file two months ago

OR

Wait for TOm to have the file sent to us.


ALSO, previous commishes, do I need any program to upload the files?

It was a while ago, but a winzip type software is needed to put the files on the site and also extract them...other than that you should be golden.

A rar file u mean?

lol, I'm not great with computers but i believe so...whatever winzip does.

Guys we need to choose between the two scenario.

For the first scenario, I think it would be fair for all, assuming it starts on day 1 of this season, I start simming with the depth charts already submitted last year and the trades will also be processed.

I'm fine with it, as long as it doesn't go back to last season. I wouldn't want to see a championship get lost.

Guys, this is a transition year for us, I'm going to be strict with the "no 15 DC-no sim" policy next season.

I hope the 20+ GMs that have confirmed their interest are firm on their stand.
