Title: Re: Raptors-Pacers Deal (waiting for day 51) Post by: RaptorsGM on July 15, 2009, 12:35:37 PM This is a deal I felt like I had to do. As much as I like the peices I had to give, I did get Sap and Bullard for just cap space, so they don't seem like a big loss. I think Sap has probably maxed out and will likely be better suited for a 6th man role with his D/Rebounding. I checked Bullard's potential when he came into the league and it wasnt great, but its probably better now and i hate to lose him but you gotta get to give, as they say. Arch is great but I don't think you can win anything major with a C- defending G. Great scorer though.
Stan is at the peak of his career and the top defensive player last season. POTW in week 5. I love this guy. I think he will be a defensive force playing alongisde Gatlin. I think my team looks really nice now with Stan/Gatlin/Mokray inside, Diddle/Hopson/Gallatin/Allen at the wings and Hiscock/Artest at the point. Seems like a great time to go win-now with a new group of teams taking over. I want to be one of them. |
