trying to beat Tom with this post. hahah

Not happy with the performance of my players. althought the bright side is jerome kersey shooting at a really-high percentage.

ditto, rookies aren't looking too good for myself, other than Aaron Brooks who looks like he could be a good scorer off the bench if needed.

Rudy Fernandez is a freakshow.

Pretty solid 13-5. Individually, aside from low percentages from two guys and some less than stellar rebounding rates, I'm pretty satisfied. Some issues to keep an eye on have come up. Nice offensive efficiency with things controlled by a displaced SG. Great team D - best in the league in ofg%, oppg and orpg - and this is without three A defenders in my lineup and two guys playing out of position alongside a kiddie corps frontcourt.

Orlando has something of a rocky transition, but not too much to complain about really - percentages and steals are down with TO's up, but scored at a good pace and rebounded the hell out of the ball. Late FA pickups Sellers was OK, can be in my rotation; Shaw was very careful with the ball and a master thief; Daumeyer is a nice defensive presence who will not hurt me too much at all.

The kids were kinda iffy, but keepable: 1st rounder Brett Profit scored and rebounded at underwhelming clips, but was solid for a first timer - and like his 2.5 S+B v. 1.1TO's; McLeod did not shoot the ball all too well in his PT, but otherwise looks like a sound all-round contributor; Vaught was OK at the point, but needs time to develop. With 'Tag and Shaw around, he'll get it.

Other experiments were just fine, thanks very much. Might be a very good year.

Macon of Rockets proved his worth.

Sampson's arrival at the East is a big problem. 19 and 10 players. yikes

The Heat seems like they got a steal with Fesenko.

Parker Thurmond. wow

Not really that concerned about record, more looking for big shows from some of the guys, and I got it.

Diddle's scoring looks incredible. Only 20years old, hes gonna be a top scorer for the next 12-13 seasons.

Brunson looked great, 13 boards 2 steals a game.

Allen played well at SG. i don't think Mokray and Artest are ready to start yet. Likely go with Saperstein/Gatlin/Diddle/Allen/Hiscock for sim2.

Well, considering i basically started not even 2nd but 3rd unit with ex. of Joe, we did good, we even won few games.

It was also injury plagued sim, Joe played only 8 games, Rodman 15, Przy 19 out of 21.

So a team where only
Deion Mills C 21 7'1'' 319 B- C- C C B- B
Kyle Crotty PF 22 6'8'' 239 C C C- C C D
Gerald Green SG 22 6'8'' 200 C B+ C- C+ C- C
Corey Brewer SG 21 6'9'' 185 C C C- B- C B
Dana Barros PG 25 5'11'' 163 C A- B- C+ D+ C

play all 21 games goes 6-15, thats something  :lmao:

And Joel Przy leading with 4.2bpg?? what the heck was that?  :bash:

Now let's take the big boys out to see what they can do  :bods:

Carl Landry looks like a stud out in Utah...Paul Pressey POM?

*lol* (to Pressey)

anyway, Jeffrey Geiger led the Celtics in scoring 1ith almost 18ppg ... from the bench !
guess that about tells the story.

Amazingly we still won 12 of 20 games (10-1 at home, 2-7 on the road) playing without the Johnson's.
Let's see what we can do with a more balanced lineup

Not bad

Tried out Macon as a starter and he did very well with 17.3ppg, 5.3rpg, 4.0apg, 2.7 spg and only 1.7 topg. Very happy!

Excellent pre-season showing at 13-5. I think my depth is hopefully what's going to keep me competitive, as my bench is stacked with great role players. Kite looked great over at PF, and McGrady looks like he might be ready to finally break out.

tom i hope you didnt forget...can you send me my computer recommended depthchart? tnx  :D

on the pre-season...wow..this is the first time in a couple of years that i feel like i have a very deep bench... im not really sure on who to start or to play... the rookies fesenko and Fazekas are playing great...the fa pick up sam bowie is also play great... i have to find out if ben kukoc and muggsy could still contribute... overall happy with the preseason... rik, bynum, glen and penny are dependable....

16 -5 record seems to be fool's gold.  I can't believe my defense is gonna hold people to 91 ppg.  Durant was a pretty slow start there too.  underwhelming #s for 30 mpg.

the rest is about what i expect statistically though, so who knows.

hmm, after giving this a deep thought: no

I want to get away from the cpu managing teams.
I want GMs to take responsibility and MANAGE their teams, without cpu assistance. There's no cpu in real life telling you what to do

(well in fact there are multiple cpu's in real life constantly telling you what to do, but that's a completely different story ...)

so just manage your team.
