Title: Extensions & draft Post by: CelticsGM on May 12, 2009, 10:42:40 AM hey guys,
i have sent the extensions to Derek, should be posted in a couple of hours also I have received a draft file and will take a look later tonight. Hoipe to get that posted by tomorrow as well. So let's just continue with playoffs round 2 now and go from there. There will be enough time for everyone to get the extension offers accepted or declined, I won't start the new season before Sunday. And the monetary stuff will be looked at as well, Derek sent some information what to do and that will be definitely be covered ... and made up-to-date .... before seasons end. Hope we get back on track quickly now ... Greetz tom Title: Re: Extensions & draft Post by: MagicGM on May 12, 2009, 11:25:17 AM thanks, I am willing to help on counting the DCs just to get a head start for a new season rather have long breaks. :)

I did put in one amount for all the achievements (in fact Excel helped a lot), but if you think you weren't treated properly get me a PM, i will take a look. DCs will follow soon. Title: Re: Extensions & draft Post by: CelticsGM on May 13, 2009, 10:51:42 AM Resignings are working now, get them done until Sunday
(and remember, if you don't have anyone to resign STILL ACCEPT THE "NONE" OFFER for perfect attendance !!!) Bank is up to date now too. BIG THANK YOU to the MAGIC GM for helping out with the DC counts and bank stuff ... And the Draft preview will follow this evening ... BIG THANK YOU to the HAWKS GM for helping out with the draft preview ... Title: Re: Extensions & draft Post by: HawksGM on May 13, 2009, 10:56:33 AM Hakeem and Lionel Simmons, my financial problems are just beginning ;)
Title: Re: Extensions & draft Post by: MagicGM on May 13, 2009, 10:56:48 AM DONE
Title: Re: Extensions & draft Post by: Str8westcoasta on May 13, 2009, 01:54:48 PM McHale is coming back for the minimum, MJ asked for the max... he got it.
Title: Re: Extensions & draft Post by: MagicGM on May 13, 2009, 08:44:50 PM Well, my starting frontcourt is asking for the minimum. SO why should I not accept it? hehe
Title: Re: Extensions & draft Post by: Iverson2Korver43 on May 13, 2009, 09:32:43 PM Brandon and Chapman are...................................................................................both coming back for about 6 seasons and MAX $$$... Brandon deserves it, but Rex not so much... I just couldn't let a 25 ppg, low TO, 26 year old shooting guard walk for nothing... It's a reach, but would be great if his defense improves...
Title: Re: Extensions & draft Post by: MagicGM on May 13, 2009, 10:28:00 PM I thinks its better if his offense gets worse. Hihihi
Title: Re: Extensions & draft Post by: BlazersGM on May 14, 2009, 02:13:43 AM I declined all 3 backups.
but this is nice. Ervin Bargnani Green Kerr Barros Mickael = 24.296.306 (On Kerr goes 13.1) That leaves us with 19.5 mil of cap space for FA. Hopefully we'll get one MAX superstar and another good signing with money left. Last few FA's we got nothing (only lost guys like Hakeem, Zeke, etc.), but i hope our great record this season will attract at least one star in day 1 or 2, so we can try to re-sign some of our own FA's on days 3-5 after the money is gone. Too bad i completely overlooked Barros' contract and didnt cut his contract, that would make 3 mil more. Perfect deal would be a PF/C so i can move Andrea to SF, to form monster SF/PF/C frontcourt. Title: Re: Extensions & draft Post by: MagicGM on May 14, 2009, 11:19:59 AM Resignings are working now, get them done until Sunday As much as I hate to say this, but I think this is for the best of the league. THe potentials were randomized, right? (and remember, if you don't have anyone to resign STILL ACCEPT THE "NONE" OFFER for perfect attendance !!!) Bank is up to date now too. BIG THANK YOU to the MAGIC GM for helping out with the DC counts and bank stuff ... And the Draft preview will follow this evening ... I remember one potential because the triple digits carried my eyes up there, I thought something was screwed up. It was Jermaero something or other from Alabama. He's rated awful anyway so I don't suspect it will affect any serious picks in the draft.

Sorry if it sounds bad btw. :D Just doing it for the good of the league :D Title: Re: Extensions & draft Post by: HawksGM on May 15, 2009, 07:56:55 AM Sorry if it sounds bad btw. :D Just doing it for the good of the league :D Oh I agree, if I knew all the potentials it would be quite the unfair advantage, so the one I remember I share :) Title: Re: Extensions & draft Post by: MagicGM on May 15, 2009, 09:19:59 AM Sorry if it sounds bad btw. :D Just doing it for the good of the league :D Oh I agree, if I knew all the potentials it would be quite the unfair advantage, so the one I remember I share :) Title: Re: Extensions & draft Post by: CelticsGM on May 15, 2009, 11:17:02 AM ... and exactly that will happen.

Title: Re: Extensions & draft Post by: MagicGM on May 15, 2009, 09:48:59 PM great, problem (if there was one) solved I think the real problem is your team. I think I got lucky with the 2nd seed because of your guys getting injured. :bash: :bash: :bash:Title: Re: Extensions & draft Post by: HawksGM on May 16, 2009, 04:11:49 PM I think the real problem is your team. Unfortunate timing but oh well, we will have the majority of our guys back next year so we can see what happens. Title: Re: Extensions & draft Post by: HornetsGM on May 20, 2009, 05:34:08 PM Will the draft preview be posted with the coming sim?

Title: Re: Extensions & draft Post by: MagicGM on May 21, 2009, 11:24:19 AM can't wait.. haha
but are we going to end the season after the 2nd part of the finals? I mean like see the draft order right after the finals? Title: Re: Extensions & draft Post by: MagicGM on May 28, 2009, 10:45:23 AM anyone else thinks we should have a live draft after the finals is simmed so that it doesn't require tom much time commitment for a while, and the league can still keep on going without much activities.
Title: Re: Extensions & draft Post by: HawksGM on May 28, 2009, 10:51:22 AM anyone else thinks we should have a live draft after the finals is simmed so that it doesn't require tom much time commitment for a while, and the league can still keep on going without much activities. if we can find common times, it would be really neat...either way we need to get things going again Title: Re: Extensions & draft Post by: Str8westcoasta on May 28, 2009, 05:46:00 PM Not fused about a live draft due to time difference. can always send in a list though
Title: Re: Extensions & draft Post by: MagicGM on May 28, 2009, 11:42:10 PM Not fused about a live draft due to time difference. can always send in a list though Yes, but at least it still keeps the league in progress even for a little bit, unlike now, where we're just standing idle. Title: Re: Extensions & draft Post by: RaptorsGM on May 29, 2009, 09:58:02 AM Being idle sucks...but none of us can imagine what tom is going through right now. we all need to be patient with him, he's been great to us.
Title: Re: Extensions & draft Post by: MagicGM on May 29, 2009, 12:47:06 PM indeed. I hope everything is doing well for him. Haha
