The Celtics finally see some light at the end of the tunnel. Just a 3-3 sim, but two losses by 1 pt each to Mavs and Pacers, but also two road wins, and I didn't have the slightest idea we'd be capeable of scoring 143 points in ONE game. Perkins/Boone/Ceballos/Pressey/Lister, that's the lineup we'll be running for now. :bounce: [btw, that 1pt loss in Dallas really really hurts. Not only did we blow a 14pt lead towards the end of the 3rd quarter, we also didn't secure a missed FT and allowed the Mavs to take their first lead on that put-back 1:30 from the end ... and to top it, down two points Boone was fouled as the buzzer sounded ... and missed the 2nd FT for a 1pt loss. Painful ... ] Title: Re: Sim 3 discussion Post by: MagicGM on April 03, 2009, 09:21:43 AM Playing 27 games in the first 3 sims is downright exhausting for my team. I need to find a way to solve my woes soon. I'll be hitting more than half of my games before allstar break. Hopefully we'll be well-rested for the playoffs.
Title: Re: Sim 3 discussion Post by: NetsGM on April 03, 2009, 09:33:06 AM Very nice 6-2 sim for the Nets, things are coming together nicely. Found settings that seem to be just right for my guys - Ostertag is picking it up, Byron is playing well, Martin Brunson is helping everywhere, Moby and Big Ed are providing great presence down low, team performance is right where I want it to be, doing more than the opp across the board with good D and balanced production. Still turning it over a bit much as a team, but with many new faces and with other good developments, I can wait for that to come together abit.
Brunson is making a case for himself for rookie team honours - easy double double, 2bpg, even shooting over .400 from 3  Aaron Bullard is liking his new "jack-of-all-trades" role, shooting great percentages. Title: Re: Sim 3 discussion Post by: MavsGM on April 03, 2009, 02:35:40 PM Quote down two points Boone was fouled as the buzzer sounded ... and missed the 2nd FT for a 1pt loss. Painful ... ] Who fouled him? I need to bench that guy. Turnovers still a big problem for this team.
