Post by: CelticsGM on March 05, 2009, 06:10:55 AM
here's who went past the top 10:

Kings Draft C Jorge Santiago with pick #11 of round 1.
Jazz Draft PG Anthony Hunt with pick #12 of round 1.  (CPU pick)
Bucks Draft PG Gavin Tarlac with pick #13 of round 1.  (CPU pick)
Magic Draft C LaMarcus Aldridge with pick #14 of round 1.
Grizzlies Draft PG Sergio Rodriguez with pick #15 of round 1.  (CPU pick)
Bulls Draft C Hilton Armstrong with pick #16 of round 1.
Heat Draft PF Ben Kukoc with pick #17 of round 1.
Knicks Draft C Keith Watts with pick #18 of round 1.  (CPU pick)
Supersonics Draft C Parker Thurmond with pick #19 of round 1.
Bulls Draft SF Renaldo Balkman with pick #20 of round 1.

Many cpu choices ... but on a positive note, those actively involved pretty much got one of their top priorities !

Interesting draft to say the least.

Really wanted to draft LaMarcus and had my eyes on him and suddenly he fell the the 14th pick. Hopefully he has good potentials. Man can't wait for the season to begin.

I like Heat's pick too. Ben Kukoc would be awesome as long as his potential could be able to sustain his ratings.

I think Ben Kukoc would easily be at least a 15ppg guy, but might be better of playing the 3.

Interesting and very deep. If I had any idea that Brunson would slip to five and Thurmond (amongst others) to 16, I never would have made that deal with the Bulls to move up.

So many good picks in this segment, and still a bunch on the board. Agree with Magic about Kukoc, could be the steal of the draft. Thurmond, same thing - great pick for the Sonics who need a good infusion of good youth. All of the bigs selected in this segment look like players - LMA, Watts, Santiago, Thurmond. Rodriguez looks like a great gamble at this point too.

Edit to add: And thanks to Tom for getting things going again and updating the sched.
