Title: FA Resigning Offers Up
Post by: NetsGM on February 18, 2009, 11:57:50 PM
http://forums.ssbabasketball.com/ssba_pages/resignings.php

****Very Important!!!!****
You must either accept or decline all offers..  By default, offers are set to "undecided".  If they remain undecided, you will not get credit for the check-in.  So, either click accept or click decline for all your offers.

Everyone should have an offer, even if the offer is "None".  If you don't have an offer, please contact me.  If you have "None" as your offers, please accept that offer so you get credit for participating.

Guys, in order to find out who did his resignings already we'd appreciate if you can leave a short post here to tell us you did.
So we make sure we don't move along with the seasons prematurely.

See this as kind of a "friendly" GM CHECK-IN

I think ending the season with the draft lottery on sunday is reasonable ... and consequently starting the draft next tuesday with picks #1-5 in round 1.  But it mostly depends on YOU when we're ready, and after the long layoff in the past 2 weeks i'm more than willing to give resignings some extra days if necessary.

At least we have something to look forward to again ...

Is Tom taking over as commish? Wasn't sure I saw any thing definitive on the matter.

No reason to post here, as long as you accept/decline all your offers in the GM actions page.

I had extended Shawn Kemp for a year, but that update has not occurred, and now he has entered the free agent pool.

Can that be fixed?

yup, purchased extensions were not processed yet.

Don't ask me who's taking over, i basically just offered help.
But right now i'm trying to keep things running (or better said: starting again), and find out who's still here, thus the check-in.

Feel free to ignore it tho ...

Makes sense to me - it's also always good to know who is resigning and who isn't  :moon:

Vlade Divac and Len Bias will NOT enter FA this season...  In about 6 seasons you will all have a chance at signing them...

EDIT - Still can't believe Rex Chapman thinks he is worth MAX $$$ and Years...

Craig Ehlo was my only option ... and he was declined.  Lets hope Corzine doesn't retire after this year.

I didn't get an offer from the one guy I really wanted one from, and ended up with delusional offers that might have been reasonable a handful of seasons ago, so that's a bit of a gyp.

Still have the lotto to look forward to, so thanks Tom.
