Title: Re: Free Agency - Day 1 Post by: Iverson2Korver43 on December 10, 2008, 09:05:52 PM WHoa... Rex, Morris and Aames were "1" YEAR MAX offers... Not Max years and money...
Title: Re: Free Agency - Day 1 Post by: SonicsGM on December 10, 2008, 09:10:08 PM Thrilled to get Mitch Richmond. His outside game fits perfectly with Danny Manning's inside game.
Still a couple more pieces needed to fill this roster out. Title: Re: Free Agency - Day 1 Post by: BlazersGM on December 10, 2008, 11:57:31 PM zeke is one greedy bastard it seems, good to have some old folks back, and too bad my mle went somewhere else, now lets overpay the guy.
Title: Re: Free Agency - Day 1 Post by: SixersGM on December 11, 2008, 12:21:50 AM its good to have my big time FA, Rod Strickland, resigned with my team. Especially after losing Evan Rossow last year that cost me not making the playoffs last season.
With the addition of the "Lone Granger" and two veteran bigmen in Herb Williams and Joel Przybilla. This might lead me to put Karl Malone on the block for a backcourt player, most preferably a PG. Looking forward for my most favourite part of the season, the training camp. Where my scouting for true potentials pays off. =D Title: Re: Free Agency - Day 1 Post by: CelticsGM on December 11, 2008, 03:06:48 AM Very fine FA day 1 for the Celtics.
Got a quick MLE signing in Big Smooth, and resigned PG/SG Embry and my young C project Clayton Zollner to the team. Especially Perkins will solidify my front line and ease the pain coming with the retirement of superstud Jerry Munson. Not sure what to do with my final roster spot now. 8) P.S. I can't believe the Warriors got Horny for the MLE !!! Title: Re: Free Agency - Day 1 Post by: NetsGM on December 11, 2008, 05:15:15 AM Ah well, DRob stays with the Cavs which was pretty expected - but all that last minute manoeuvring was worth the crack at him. Fortson and Elliot were useful enough guys coming off my bench, but I have some depth and should be fine without them. Maybe one of the four young second rounders (Lenard looks promising, Rooks might be handy and Pryzbilla/Unseld might be yet) can step up and grab some minutes from the rotation.
Resigned Jonathon Pryzbilla which was big, so my frontcourt will look much the same as it has and he still has some growth in him I'm sure. Dudley Bradley returns too, and will step into the third guard role just fine. Few more resignings and maybe a nice MLE and the Nets should be good to go. Title: Re: Free Agency - Day 1 Post by: Str8westcoasta on December 11, 2008, 05:45:04 AM Grant was meant to be a 1 year max offer!!!

isn't that the guy topping all NBA stats in "playoff games without a title" with like 293 ... and the undisputed leader in whining-to-ref attempts with exactly 26.865 do us a favor and get the pic of that annoying jerk a little smaller. thanks. Title: Re: Free Agency - Day 1 Post by: SpursGM-old on December 11, 2008, 08:18:41 AM Everyone please see the poll in general discussion and vote. My fault on the max contracts as a new simmer who is still learning the ropes of FBB.

Sure, but i'm not sure you have enough in your bank account to pay 100 to everyone here. Well, start with the main complaining teams (Celtics) to kick it off ... :-) Title: Re: Free Agency - Day 1 Post by: GoldenStateGM on December 11, 2008, 12:33:30 PM P.S.
