Title: Bulls-Grizz-Nets
Post by: NetsGM on December 10, 2008, 12:15:52 AM
Bulls joins the league in a helpful way.....

First trade

Bulls trade:
Jeremy Przybilla

to the Grizz for:
Grizz 2030 2nd Rd Pick
$50
Grizz have the cap space to make it work.

Second Trade:
Nets trade:
Adam Fortson
$50

to the Grizz for:
Colin Lenard
*Nets purchase TPE for $400 to cover difference in salaries on Grizz side of the ledger - the TPE plus Grizz 2.6 mil in cap is enough (in the checker) for this to work.

Third trade:

Nets trade:
Sean Elliot

to the Grizz for:
Jeremy Pryzbilla
*Nets purchase TPE for $400 to cover difference in salaries on Grizz side of the ledger.

Fortson, Elliot and a bunch of cash for Lenard, Pryzbilla and David Robinson *prays* is a trade I would make 1000 out of 1000 times. Plus, acquiring Jon's little brother can't but help with his decision to resign.

Not that I want to rain on anyone's parade here, but I am under the assumption that Grizzlies will have to re-accept the deal. He posted his acceptance at 5:30 AM, before the Nets turned this deal into a 3-way deal at 7AM.

Just to make sure this doesn't cause any inconvenience if this doesn't get processed before FA.

Oy vey. Check out the hypersensitivity - even though the time codes look fine from where I sit. I modified my original post to change my comment at the end to make it more enjoyable for the reader - ugh. Kinda thing I'm plagued by, little hangups like that, and am certainly conscious enough of my relationships with other GMs that I'd never muck a deal in any kinda way to affect their trust in me.

Sorry if it sounds that way.  But I think you just added the Bulls in the trade so I don't mean that you changed your deal with the Grizzlies.

I just posted that to make sure that you guys get to agree on it once again, on time, to make sure the deal goes through before FA day 1 rather than it being processed on day 2 and have the whole deal defeat its purpose.

Sorry, kinda misinterpreted what you were saying - had my mind in multiple places. Got it now, and yeah, thanks. Still looks to me like the time codes are fine, but if not, maybe Grizz can reconfirm just in case- with a quoted acceptance.
